Money finishing is a concern, hopefully the increase in holding in the Philippines unit can generate enough cash to be in a 'break-even' cash flow situation. And the others units, including the Sydney associate and rental income can contribute and make it a positive cash flow.

For now, I am not too concern, waiting for the purchase of a new core biz. I would have preferred if they have already make some kind of announcement on this. Really thought would have heard something by now.

I think the recent sell-down is due to the concern of the North Korean issue. Which has caused a sell off in the general market and could have triggered force selling on someone with a margin account.

Why no share buy back? Good question, hopefully, they need the cash to buy the new core business and not spent it or gave a loan to another connected company.

Have to wait for the next quarterly report for some sort of direction.

At yesterdays closing price, market capitalisation of DRB is RM3,247 million. To me this is very cheap.

DRB owns 53.5% of POS which has a market capitalisation of RM4,047 million. DRB share of this is RM2,165 million.

DRB owns 70% share in Bank Muamalat and Muamalat is about half the size of BIMB in terms of Branches. So can assume value Muamalat at 50% of BIMB.. BIMB has a market capitalisation of RM7,207million. As such, DRB Share of of Muamalat is about RM2,522million.

Lets assume the market is efficient. Just taking the value of POS and Muamalat, DRB should have a market capitalisation of RM4,687million. This does not include Puspakom, Deftech, HIcom, 34% of Honda, 50.1% of Proton, Proton land bank, 81% of Modenas, 97.37% of Alam Flora, Glenmarie Properties, 48.42% of Isuzu Malaysia, 48% Mitsubishi Malaysia and many other smaller companies.

Based on this, my target price for DRB is RM2.42 (based on DRB share of POS & Muamalat) and long term target price is RM3.47. I believe I am being very conservative.

Don't forget another RM93.75 million coming in 2019 from the 'retained consideration' from the sale of MAAT.

Yes, looking at the last quarterly report, going forward, with 70% of MAAGP profits can almost cover all operating expenses. Hope MAAGP can continue to grow so that MAA can be cash flow positive and fly once got new core business.

Once expired, means no more value, worthless. Why want to buy and later convert when can but mother cheaper and with less hassle.

Warrant is dangerous, especially the about to expire warrant A, which to me is worthless. Even warrant B with 2+ years to go, don't see mother above 1.00 by that time. Unless something drastic happens.

DRB business is not only about cars.

Muamalat planning for listing. This will be very good for DRB. Plus land from Proton. Digital Free Trade Zone very good for POS. Mid to Long Term, DRB is a good investment.

EPF was buying at 1.76~1.78. Support is here. Till month end will have selling pressure due to warrants expiring. July will up.

Market had taken in account the Geely Proton partnership and DRB shares was trading in the range of RM1.75~1.80. Market didn't take into account the RM1.1 billion R&D reimbursement. This is worth about 0.57 per share. To me the short term TP should now be a minimum of 2.32~2.37.

Should actually be higher as now with definitive agreement signed, removes all uncertainty and any discount put on the valuation due to the uncertainty.

Long term, this counter can go back to it's glory days.

KNM investing (betting) big in alternative/renewable energy. When crude prices fall, renewables no longer attractive, as more expensive, unless in Europe where there are subsidies/incentives. I don't know too much about the ethonol biz in Thailand and how is the demand. Maybe someone can share their knowledge. At this price, KNM looks attractive.

With the deal DRB will also be getting prime Batu 3 land, Glenmarie casting plant land and also Tg Malim/Proton City land. How much is this worth?

First sign heads of agreement, naysayers saying Geely will pull out, nothing concrete, deal is dead, etc., Now sign definitive agreement, say don't panic buy, news not important, why this, why that....never mind, you guy just sit and watch. 4+ months to go for dividends. Normally announce end of Oct and pay 2nd or 3rd week of Nov. This is a good company, always share profits with shareholders. Hoping with the sale of securities, will able able to give higher dividend this year.

Agree with Huat168, look for a stock with good future value. Than buy, do daily things, no stress about the market and after a while, got good returns.

Politics, vote bank, national interest, sentiments etc. also comes into play. Not everything is RM & Cents or as it seems. In this case, good for DRB and good for Geely too.

If pay people money to take over the business, but safe jobs and overall economy, yes....that is why government put carrot, once definitive agreement sign, will give R&D grant of RM1.1 billion. Again I ask, is this good for DRB? Again my answer is Yes.

Is getting rid by Proton good for DRB? Proton making losses over RM1 Billion a year. If keep, die faster. To me, yes.....good for DRB.
