Its better not to subsidise, or even to tax petrol, and spend the savings/income on an expansionary budget, since our market can actually live with RM2.3-2.5/L

Fiscal measures work better than propping up the market with ValueCap, which sounds like putting a cap on value

The adjustment is healthy, from a market addicted to cheap or almost free money, to fuel a highly inflated asset market mainly in equities.

What is happening is a correction, not a crash.

US banking system, supported by a robust housing market and a healthy economy, will definitely not collapse. EU banking system, with their QE and transfer of risky debts to Euro governments, is also in pretty good shape.

Unlike 2008 where there's a toxic pool of questionable debt, the banking sector is now sitting on top of very accommodating central banks who are no longer afraid to print money (QE) if it needs to be.

The only issue for US is the missing inflation. In any other situation, high growth, low inflation is a good news.
