Agree, need to have prudent strategy during such market condition. Buy only if the price is really really low. Always prepared to lose and stick to the cut lost point. Always expect the price will go lower than the purchase price.
Do some study on how bear market behave. Throughout the bear market, there will be moments of dead cat bounce and eventually it will go even lower. Be mindful that Bank Negara has not announced our upcoming rate hike. It will be another negative news for property sector.
Better not to risk our hard earned money at the moment. This round of bear market is different. Raising interest rate would help but it still will not solve the underlying issue on supply chain disruption and raising crude oil price. Look at the broader market before making any investment decision.
Unfortunately, value of property stocks is not correlate to the increase in property value. Increasing interest rate and building materials will be the near term impact to the profit. Consolation probably can get higher profit from sales of their overhang property which were built with cheaper material cost. The main issue is short term demand on property is not exciting.
Price of fresh milk is getting expensive to buy even before inflation. Most people cant even afford to pay few RM for a small pack of fresh milk. Significant portion of the cost spent on the nice plastic packaging.
Award winning but the share price drop significantly even before covid in 2019. Really couldn't think of any near catalyst with the current high inflation environment, interest rate hike and high level of hangover properties. Debt level of the company is high too.
Inflation is expected to impact revenue as people may tend to buy less or find cheaper alternative. Poultry sector may be impacted by increased of raw material price and overall cost of production. Will wait for the qtr result to see how great are the impacts.
@flytothemoon, what's wrong with high borrowing if a company able to make enough to serve those borrowings? The banks wouldn't approve the borrowing if they have no confidence on the expansion plan. I rather invest in a growing company with borrowing rather than a net cash company with no plans to grow.
@bang_miskin, you will never know. May hesitant to buy more too if I feel have enough position in a counter too. Always prefer to diversity my portfolio. Generally I think selling is the last option now as the market is gradually recovering.
