this is only my opinion - most investors prefer returns in their investments. i think some manipulatiors in skp, big investors like epf buying and selling to maintain a slower increase to enable skp to use capital effectively. of cos it is mutual agreement. it looks that skp is not a healthy company. to me let say if skp give dividens it might shoot up above 10.00 to this date. but now it is a matter of the mgt in skp controlling capitals. you ll see whenever large institutional investors are in, like epf, then the stock's price will be controlled easily by the company. for example, the recent brahim's counter stabilised at a price range while it wont able jump to 3.00 after epf went in. huge disposal and acquisition by epf affects the price easily.

should skp awards dividends the stock will be worth to keep

almost all technology stocks in US give dividends. google is not a favorable stock anyway and performance is slow.
