The way I see it, to protect yourselves in the stockmarket, and on this stock, you need to arm yourself with knowledge and find out:

1) How much is Generex share worth on Nasdaq and if the share has been moving up because this company is making breakthroughs in vaccine. If the company is on a breakthrough, funds will drive the stock through the ceiling.
2) If answer to 1 is yes and you think you should buy up or hold, then check see if the agreement between Bintai and Generex is an agreement or merely MoUs. MoUs are meaningless expression of intent to cooperate if they do not convert to standard, properly spelt-out agreements.
3) If you cant check the above two or cant find answers to them, you will probably now ask why the stock jumped from 0.25 to 0.94 in matter of two weeks, then look around. People are getting fed-up of Covid 19 and are looking up to anything promising, especially vaccines. Even rumours that someone is making a vaccine is exciting. In no likelihood of a cure, even a promise looks good. It is called HOPE. Dont forget, there are people out there who are jobless or going to be jobless who think they can outsmart the stockmarket by believing in rumours and buy any "promising" stock. These are some of the things probably drove up stock prices.

Yesterday's trading hour-by-hour was marked by indecision. Prices will pulled down because of retail investors leaving the market but they were promptly pulled back to existing levels. If look at the charts, you will see this. At some point, prices were encouragingly green. So let us watch today, and who knows, we might get lucky.

This is the headline: "Ho Wah responded to second communication from US FDA on new vaccine"

And down it reads: "FDA had requested EBI to provide further information on the investigational new drug (IND) application which proposes the use of existing poliomyelitis virus vaccines (PVV)) for prevention of Covid-19."

What does it say exactly - or maybe something like "Yes, you may proceed to send us your proposal and research on how a polio vaccine may be useful but we will consider?."

If this is the second response, then it is nothing material that should be your main consideration to chase this stock. Right now US is drowning and chasing against time to get a vaccine out before Nov Elections. If you follow the presidential race, it's anything goes. They are probably receiving tonnes of applications. And whether or not FDA approves or not, if a vaccine is effective, the pressure will be for the FDA to APPROVE even if it has yet to be submitted.

Scour around the web and and read up more on vaccines and invest wisely. Dont end up sharkbait in stocks. Invetors are very alert and hardworking. Greedy and mostly lazy punters end up being morsels for killerwhales and sharks.

This man is really afraid sell-down of gloves. But he has a point - gloves will be needed even as vaccines eradicate diseases. But the problem is market saturation - with Covid waking up every investor to the need for gloves, all are jumping on the bandwagon. The best bet to hedge against market saturation is to look for the companies that supply raw materials for rubber or non rubber gloves, the chemical companies too as well as rubber supplies. agreed except point no2, audit confirmations only been used once a year for one bank account, that's still alot, according to NST will contribute 20X of current profit, so next QR profit is estimated around 20k x 20 = 400k

2) For Malaysian Market, halal may be a guide but any company worth its salt would not stop pandering to local needs only - how much is the Malaysian market compared to Thailand, Vietanam, Cambodia, or even Singapore combined? You can even leave Indonesia out of the picture.
3) How much is Bintai's stake in this vaccine venture? If you know then chances that you can bet all the way to your imagine profitability. If not, then perhaps being reasonable is wise.
4) How much is funds play versus retail play? Funds usually have a team of researchers to dig out all the economic, fundamental and technical basis for their investment because they are answerable to the authorities of their operating countries as well as their investors. If right now it is all retail play, usually fuelled by speculations and hearsay, then be wise about it and stop denying that sometimes prices can be too high to cloud your judgment to see the dangers in front. Sometimes in desperation, we dont want to see what we should be seeing logically.
5) Look at the signs on the charts. Notice the candlestick that formed yesterday? Maybe funds have withdrawn or the retailers have moved because they have scalped the rewards of speculative play.

So, think about these things when you invest - Bintai or any stocks, local or abroad bourses

not bad for speculative buying - vaccine not made, just agreement signed, and approval not even given yet I think. Now Bintai is not a vaccine maker - it is merely an investor in that venture. Imagine if something clogs the wheel and those who have through their entire savings into chasing this new high, what will happen. Invest wisely. If you are in, hold as see how high it can hit. If you are looking in, just have more commonsense.

This is still one of the safest stocks without much price fluatuation which give out decent dividend every three months. The next dividend is expected to be declared again by end of this month. 'Goreng kaki' can go to gloves, masks and technology stocks.
