Khootk...I have to praise you for brave enough to cut loss....many of us miss the best timing to cut....I think better solution now is to close our phone, tablet, electronic and wait for the stabilize market back...feel very oversold...

a stock that having 20 IBs recommended as buy calls really deserve to sell like no tomorrow? with the Pan Malaysia projects itself from PETRONAS...SKpetro can busy until 2016 already....some more there are projects in Brunei, Vietnam, etc...and that are signed contracts regardless the dropping of oil price recently....

i feel myself silly to debate the price falling should not much inffluent by the oil price dropping within this bad sentiment global environment....when it governed, no matter how solid the fundametal is or technically occurred some buying signals...everything is just a bullshit...nothing could explain people just being negative and keep selling their share and hold cash...

Angku....you are talking about fuel and energy industry...not FMCG...if price of a FMCG drop...as a businessman you might think of do not sell the thing anymore because you earn less....in oil & gas industry I don't ever heard when the price drop the project will be cancelled or when it hikes, more projects will be popping out....fear always being created when ppl are not knowing what they are investing in....

oil price does not really have much impact on the contractor...it shall be more on the company who owned the oil field...SKpetro has so many projects in hand both local and international...what u guys scared of?

Khalid agrees to reveal all on water agreement

Selangor will disclose the details of the water take over agreement, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said today.

“We will reveal the contents of the water agreement so that the people can understand that it is the best decision made to benefit all parties,” the Selangor Menteri Besar tweeted.

It is learnt that Khalid will brief senior government officials and his remaining exco members on the master agreement at the state's economic action council meeting.

Sources in the Menteri Besar's office said a statment could be issued later today on when and where Khalid will reveal the master agreement.

Earlier today, Khalid told reporters that the text of the master agreement would be revealed after the companies involved in the restructuring of the water industry completed their respective extraordinary general meetings.

“The text of the agreement will be revealed soon. The companies involved will hold EGMs to determine the sale of shares,” Khalid said after attending a gathering for religious teachers, imams and mosque officials in Shah Alam today.

It is understood that the three companies involved in the restructuring exercise will have to hold EGMs to approve the sale of their shares to the Selangor government.

Under the restructuring deal, the three companies will be taken over by a Selangor government entity, Air Selangor Sdn Bhd, which will then run their water supply and treatment operations.

The three companies are: Puncak Niaga Sdn Bhd (PNSB), Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas), and Konsortium Abass (Abass).

Khalid has been pressured to reveal the agreement which he signed with Putrajaya on September 12 that set out to take back the supply and treatment of water in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya from four companies.

The RM7.45 billion deal will reverse decades of privatisation of the lucrative industry by the previous Selangor Barisan Nasional administration.

Although the restructuring exercise is supported by Selangor Pakatan Rakyat, the coalition and Khalid have had disagreements over how to carry it out.

Yesterday, several PR leaders and a corruption watchdog called on Khalid to make the entire agreement public to prove that it had the public’s best interests at heart.

They had also questioned why Khalid had gone ahead and signed such an important agreement knowing that he would be replaced as menteri besar. – September 15, 2014.

correct me if I misunderstand...I realized most of the conversions are more than millions. Refer to the latest annual report, the largest shareholder of LA, Mayland, hold 48.63% or 240,371,000units, while the second largest holder only holder 1.88% or 9,300,000units. Lets assume each conversion is done for only one holder and conversion volumes more than 5millions were all done by Mayland, the substantial shareholder. If the above assumption is true, by calculating the additional listing announcement, I reckon from 21 July 2014 (cut-off date of annual report) to then, Mayland had converted huge portion of their LA to mother share and that make their overall holding of the company to about 20%. That is within only 1.5moths. So, what if the conversion continue until 33% is secured? Lets observe the movement of the LA conversion. Cheers~

Not yet out....but I wonder if you guys will believe in Maybank IB or not....I remember last year or year before...they make a buy call for MAS just days before MAS quarter report...they are expecting MAS to make profit in back-to-back quarter after the financial re-structuring program...but eventually MAS reported a huge and extended loss compare to the quarter before they make profit...then MIB quickly revised their call from Buy to Sell...that revision was just like happened in days...although AAX might be possible to make loss again but I believe in the speech given by the CEO of AAX rather than this funny IB...let see will MIB perform another comedy for us...cheer all~~
