Ringgit steady at 4.0046, as was predicted. Those predicting ringgit to weaken substantially may be missing the big picture. Steady ringgit may remove forex uncertainties for exporters, good for business.

The 3 major US indices rose to new record highs last night, reflecting the big picture for equities which is more positive than many people realize. So it is still risk on and funds flow should benefit AA as a growth stock. Despite several false starts over the last few days, I still believe that AA is likely to push up to new heights soon. As said many times big picture equities is still positive, ie it is risk on. Look at US markets overnight, all 3 major indices new record! On Supermax don't expect too much from 2Q16 results but the exact numbers aren't that important. Big picture shows the worst may be over and should be ok for longer term. No crystal ball but suspect game not over yet so don't have to over trade I think. Still like AA and FGV, looking at DRB.

Supermax up 3 sen again. Like was said earlier, big picture suggests game not over yet. Some of the Cs did very well too but be careful especially those near expiry. FGV continued to rally, good trading stock. Investo, congrats on your good realized profit from Padini,.The fraudsters tried to bluff you that it was a big mistake when you bought it at 2.41. Yah disappointing a bit. Every time AA tries to push above 3.00, sellers emerge to push it down again. Guess it will need a new catalyst for AA to move up decisively, hope the coming results will do just that.

IEA today cut its global oil demand growth and is now predicting it to slow from 1.4 mb/d in 2016 to 1.2 mb/d in 2017, 0.1 mb/d below its previous forecasts. Will pressure oil prices short term. While it may be good for AA, it is not good for Malaysia and the ringgit.

Good morning guys! Global markets rallying and it is risk-on again for now. Need to keep eye on big picture. My view on gloves remain unchanged: avoid for now. The ringgit strength is a major headwind,. End of day, no one really knows so make your own decisions. As usual, be wary of false claims and always be careful online. Happy Investing!
