i think is net worth $1mil, that is to ensure you have enough working capital to keep your business running.
If follow what the website says: Fee: Upfront franchise fee of RM80,000 (one-off) and an additional RM10,000 if franchisee exercises option to extend tenure (5 years + 5 years option) and then 5% royalty fee on the gross revenue derived from monthly sales, and 3% advertising and promotion fees of the gross revenue derived from monthly sales. http://oldtownfranchise.blogspot.com/
Personally i dun think franchise fees contribute much, a 10 years franchise fees is just about RM170,000 is probably royalty fee on gross revenue from monthly sales from coffee chain that contribute. If looked at last annual report, over $262 mil in revenue, or 62%, came from coffee chain. The rest of revenue came from manufacturing beverages.

Hello, BB we dont need a flight status reporter here in this forum., even if you volunteer FOC. This info is useless. There are hundreds of flights day in day out KLIA, what these few cancellation has to do with AA?
Remember, investor has short memories...isn't that you emphasize?

well, the first look on PMCORP (sorry to refer this in GCB forum) is there is zero dividen payout since 2005. Not even a single cents! I dun buy stock that dun pay out dividen...no matter how good is the earning, how excellent is the cash flow....

India is such a big land with #2 highest population in the world, 1.2 billion ppl living in India. It make more sense for LCC to penetrate the local market. The growth potential is huge.
By comparison, Malaysia is only 30 mil

i have took profit and stay away from this counter earlier.
As said there is no visibility on the profitibility of remaining operations. The Dubai JV operation not doing well and poses greater losses this quater, there is no cash cow in IL business portfolio as whole. It looks to me they have nothing left beside the cash pile after sales of China operations.

NEW DELHI (Sept 26): AirAsia India has received the no objection certificate (NOC) from the Civil Aviation Ministry, clearing the way for its venture to start its operations in India.

AirAsia India will enter the market as a well-backed group with the support of a USD100 billion conglomerate, the Tata Group, together with Telestra Trading. India’s strict foreign airline ownership regulations finally changed in 2012, freeing up foreign airlines to acquire up to 49% stakes. AirAsia was the first airline group to take advantage of the new foreign direct investment policy, forging an agreement with Tata to launch a joint venture low cost affiliate.
The carrier would likely commence operations in 4Q2013.
Mr Fernandes said: "We are ready as soon as we get the approvals” and that the timing of the launch "was in the hands of the Indian regulator... but most likely it will start by the fourth quarter."
