Agree time may be crucial but this is only their first one. They have production license to generate earnings in future. It will take them a bit longer to start getting profit if they can't find oil in Oman. The risk is people may lost confidence.

Bear in mind, they are not digging the whole OMAN, these locations are analysed and choosen after careful studies using conventional method and rex. Still need a hope but got better chance in Genting. The good thing about Genting is it is not affected by rumours or silly comments. If next round is Tai, then it is Tai.

All I know is all oil counter drop on Friday except few such as Perdana petroleum. That can be just a retreat from foreign investor due to tapering even though it is small. Of course the one that do not have any earning such as Hibiscus will suffer most.

If you are long term investor, just ignore all this, just my two cents. Oil will be found one day. Let me reiterate, the have 3 location, two at North and one at south. If oil not found in North well one, then they can go to well 2 or directly to GA south. Why panic? Rex is pretty good in finding oil and they are getting more contracts. $$$ will be just few months down the road.

I trust Lee Cheng Hooi from Maybank investment bank more than any comments from forumer here as his view are pretty much spot on 8 of 10 times.

Definitely, check the price target and news. Also it is close to ex date of dividend payment. This is one of the top 10 stock with high dividend payment. This is also one of the best undervalued stock with good fundamentals and it will shine in few years time when the Palm tree are mature. It will turn into a rapid growth stock like oil and gas. Hi I have been watching this thread closely and can't believe you guys believe the rumour of a person that have only two same post and get news from uncle. If you go to other forum, you will often see people said their brother or friend work in so so company and have insider news. If they have insider news, they don't have to come here to post but buy or sell them according to news.
This person must be one of you guys that always post negative news here or want to buy cheap.
You will see a lot of such people spreading negatives in other forum like inari. Anyone can create an account and post as autie or uncle work in the oil field.

On the serious note, if there is no oil found or dirty oil in north field, they still have choice to drill at GA South or the other side of the North. If dirty oil is found that means Rex is good. If you care to read how accurate Rex is on testing of existing oil field, you will have much more confidence.

They also have more than half a dozen license to drill in Norway and Australia. I can't imagine they can't find oil in all of these field. In additional to that, they have 11 countries to explore in ASIA-Pacific.

The downward trend may be to do with changes of SPAC rule and also the fear of the tapering news as this counter is heavily invested by foreign fund. So it's up to you to believe the company or rumour.

Good morning. 10b tapering is announced. Dow rise 194 points because of the forward guidance that suggest the interest rate may only be rise in 2015. It is the opportunity of life time to grab good value stock including dsonic if people are panic selling. My advice is to put money on stock that will benefit from week ringgit such as homeritz , latitude and other company that the business are rely only export to US. You will only benefit if you buy back below RM2.2 per share, What about transaction fees and stamp duty? Yes. Buy as early as possible, better buy before split because large fund cannot buy atm because of policy. But bear in mind most us here bought this share since rm3, few join at rm8 and rm9. If you are new then be aware it has continue uptrend for 3 days. Some may suggest to wait for correction as it uptrend for few days. The chart is super bullish but rsi reach 80. I think the reason is no big boys (like EPF) playing these stock because of low liquidity. Few months ago, when market was heading 1600 because of rumor of syria war and QE talk, DSONIC stand firm like a rock.
Things may change after split. The advantage of more liquidity is that the stock will rise rapidly to the true value (above 11.50) but downside after that is the price movement may be small as it is controlled by the big boys. One good example is Digi. Hopefully DSONIC will be like digi after split.

Only thing that can prevent further upside is tapering talk on 17,18 Dec. I am sure other counter will be affected more because off more foreign fund involvement.
