Khalid offer is so cheaky and misleading, it only offer 1.555 billion instead of 5.594 !!! I think he may try to push for a federal take over. Not sure how it will be valued if federal takes over.

I have this wildest dream to think that if the deal is rejected on 4th of Dec then I will buy as many as I could if it drop below some price point after panic selling. This will be the greatest opportunity to get some gain in short period of time knowing that the next offer will be better and the offer need to be accepted shortly due to the urgency of the water issues. What do you think?

@Vincent, do not rush in too early and wait for correction in the day when they is sudden drop by profit taking. Do not wait too late either as this counter normally peak at the end. Just study daily chart but of course some days is different. Take care

RSI sometimes also indicate a super bull stock. RSI in DSONIC has been high Since 3.5 for sometime and it still keep going up. It sometimes can be sustained if there is rumor or good news flow. For inari, potential to go to main board remain a strong reason to keep this stock. RSI need to be look at with other things like failure swing and etc. Of course if you are a contra player, then you will need to buy in correction.

My high is different than your high in definition. It depends your strategy and appetite for risk taking. I am not right every time, otherwise I would have retired. Look at daily chart they is normally a quiet period after profit taking. Sometimes it doesn't stop if it is super bull then you have to wait for correction. Good luck. Buy at your own risk.

Be careful not to buy at too high (unless you want to hold until split or ex split) and repeat the mistake few days ago. There is always some correction in between.

Whenever there is a downtrend and people start asking question like 'what happen to this stock!', ' no body goreng' then it's the time to buy.

See announcement today, big funds has been collecting before announcement. They know something we don't.

Study the stock chart and you will have some idea. You don't need to worry, if you are not contra player. Talked to trader and most will hold and only sell after split. Some will wait for the price to come up after split. Expect some profit taking in between and remember no stock can go up 5-10% every week. If you buy because of thinking the stock is undervalue, then there is no need to worry. Read the history of stock split and you will find the price will normally peak about 5-15 days before the actually split (It is called pre-split run). If the stock fundamental is good, the split will actually help the stock real value to be realised.

Do not worry guys. Look at posting history, he is one of those who either miss the boat and spread negative (like in inari) to buy cheap. Always look at fact. Lots of people pretend they are insider or expert. You often see people say, I know what I know, see you at xx price.

That is nothing to prevent government to privatise the asset once it is consolidated and sort out the water issues.

I don't think people has realised how good the deal is until they do the sum. After so many internal meetings, do you think they offer the same price for no reason and for fun in the hope they will accept under pressure?
They may be some internal agreement on how to get the fair value for Puncak and at the same time save the government's face and money so that the price is not hiked too much.

The offer is only for water assets which is valued at 3.78 at ROE of 12%. The oil division is still left and worth 1.44. Look at the history of announcement, big pension fund has been collecting for a while. Last chance to get more. Of course the only risk is that the deal is not accepted. Even it is not accepted, it will just push the deal to a better one.

Foreign fund has been retrieving last few days due to expectation of fed reserve to start tapering. It may be in comng months according to meeting minutes today. Expect some pullback on most shares especially banking shares and shares with heavy foreign fund involvement. It will be interesting to see how well dsonic withstand the storm this time. I have sold some maybank stock to exchange for this.

Don't attach too much emotion to the stock lah. If DSONIC turning bad and MyEG is uptrend, I will buy MyEG and jump ship. If it doesn't rise who care it has the best profit in the world and the fancy numbers. I hold stock for long/mid term and tomorrow fall or rise does not mean anything as long as it reach my target point in next few months. If tomorrow fall more, I will be happy as I can collect more at cheaper price. Look at the chart for last few months, you can hardly see any big correction. It only happen during the day. I am sure we kick ourselves of not getting more when it was 7.19.

@midtermtrade, that's the special thing about this company. It is unique, it got the contract, margin is high and no competition. QE tapering has no effect of its earning. We also expect a good result coming out. I agree that the price is a bit high but the split has create this hype and people expect the price will increase after the split. Base on historical data of company that splitted before, only half of them will rise after the split and some will return to the original price after split. It's this 'what if' that create this buying spree. I can also tell that a lot of uncle, auntie, ah poh, ah gong just don't understand split and think it is a bonus and get into the market. You have to ask why takaful is hanging around 9-9.5, and I think it is because it is too expensive. If it split the share now, then I am sure a lot more people will start buying again. Or course we know we can buy share smaller than a full lot and the split make no difference but people just think differently, Also the liquidity of this share may attract more big funds. So we just enjoy the ride for the time being. RHB may con us but at least it is back up by numbers and also by analyst from Maybank.

Fortunebull, enough of hard selling the Myeg lah. You must have bought a lot :-). I have bought at DSONIC 6.5, 7.5, 8.2 today since you start recommending MyEG at 2.41 about 2-3 weeks ago and MyEG is still at 2.43.
MyEG is also UMNO crony counter but the difference is that it only move a little bit. May be it will fly when GST is about to start. For the time being, we need to ride the trend. RHB just revise the target to 11.56 , I am sure there will be more uptrend very soon after correction when more news cover this. For me I am not selling any at all even I start collecting at 3. It's a golden goose.
