Siva, I don't have the details about the profit rise but I believe it is contribution from the Cheras flagship development. It's mainly come from the property division. PE is low and you have to see it's net cash !! I have sold some recently and buy back at 1.19. Definitely worth entering but at what price you have to decide and my target is still a long way.

buyvaluestocks, I sold Karex last week just a day before it dropped not because I knew it would drop but I swapped it with SAM.

I have no idea why it dropped so much in a day. My guess is to do with interest rate rise ( see link posted by itstart (thanks)). Last friday, many stocks also affected by the Portugese problem and I assume many will sell to avoid the risk. Some sector will benefit from interest rate rise after six month time but some that depends on loan will not. Market more or less already price in the rate hike, but this is too complex for anyone to pin point the exact reason. The sell down was with great volume. I will stay side line until it's stabilise. Hope this help but please ask more people for opinion. I may be talking nonsense here :-)

Good earning with double digit growth. You see how inari goes up because of the electronics market. Vitrox is on the 3D testing side and should go hand in hand with those counter.

It's got unique patent and have earned contract from major global brand like Intel, Foxconn, Kingston, Venture, OKI, Fabtronic.

You can see the trend like pestech and now you know why I promote this. Asam and I talked about pestech few months ago when it was RM2-RM3 but not many people follow. Anyway, do your own analysis and research before you jump in and have to be quick as this stock has not corrected for sometime and seldom have any correction. Mkh, remember the target 5.4 was set beginning of the year by Hwangdbs and that is a 12 month target and we are half way of the year and it is already more than half way but it will get there at the end. You may also know that another research house set the target to 5.8. Of course gone are the days where we see increase of 10, 20 cents a day. The tree is still in early stage and will reach its peak soon and at the moment the property side of things still looking promising. It's support is very strong and I would keep it in my portfolio.

We can only see more machine and electrical components being sold each year and transformer is an essential component. This is as good as the bread!! Do not forget they have other essential products too.

Cbip - what a bargain we have last week and for those believe in plantation stock, look no further. I have to repeat here, if you are bullish about plantation stock, Cbip will get twice the benefit since it produce Palm oil as well as machinery to process it and sell to major plantation company. A lot of their machine are getting old and need replacement soon. Cbip continue to purchase land to expand their future earnings and if you read their plan you will see their ambition. This is one of the stock to keep for pension.

JTiasa, I think Uncle Koon has covered this many times and I have great respect to him. He also has major followers and proven record to pick the right stock. Buying is easy but when to sell is an art. If you don't understand it and follow it closely, I am afraid you may miss the chance to sell if uncle sell his stock and issue a sell call after that. I suggest to pick only few stocks that you understand. For example if you understand property and how events affecting the property market, you can make sound judgement. If you work in telecommunication, buy shares like Digi, Ock, timecom and etc.

Depends on conditions, esos can give discount but some company need you to hold for certain period before you can sell. It is meant to retain employee. If you have confidence in the company, then I would choose esos.
