Yes, I have a diversified portfolio for long term pick. Sometimes, I have doubt whether it is the right method. I don't lose big but I cannot win big either. As shown in the portfolio, if I pick any of the 8 winning stock I can achieved 15% and more. Of course only if I knew ahead of time, lol.
The most profitable period was when I own only few stocks takaful, cbip, inari, dsonic in my own portfolio

Currently, in my real life strategy, I have several stocks for long term and use some money to punt on hot stock. I also keep some cash to pick bargain during sell down.

I have to agree 'most' crony stock don't share profit and is normally growth stock with headline news that push the price up and of course some money went to their pocket. It has its down and upside and we only can live with the flow. There is always some uncertainty with such stock and hence you see big swing in their price. In 2015, I will focus more on dividend stock.

it's quite normal for people to take profit but will soon regret and buy it back later at higher price. I haven't see many good company like this for some time that growing rapidly, give dividend and at the same time valuation is still low. Next quarter will be even better after Christmas and Chinese new year.

4th Quarter result should be the strongest and only few months away before GST starts. At this price, really attractive considering the price was hovering above 0.85 before major sell down.
Current price has moved across sma200 0.681. macd improving and uptrend should continue.

For street player that trade like trader without enough knowledge of world market movement, I agree it easy to die soon.

However, some trader with strict discipline can earn big with enough info and tools available to them although risk is quite big. Being investor doesn't mean always turn out to be winner if there is no cut loss strategy and not enough attention is paid to the fundamentals changes of the company as well as the world and country.

There is not a sure way to earn. In my company there is aggressive trader and also good trader. Which one will earn more depends on the market situation.

We are here only sharing, there is no need to be harsh on words.
I know Siva well and sometimes his pick can be risky too but he know when to cut. So I advice not everyone following his strategy if not experience like him. At the same time, he also share many winners here over the year and he is well respected.

aiyo, don't gaduh lah. Investor or trader doesn't matter, at the end of day, keeping and earning money more important.
Some choose to keep for few years and some choose to cut loss and buy back lower. Market is unpredictable. A sudden incident can turn the whole market around whether it is down or up.

For the first time, optimus talk sense and many people thank optimus. if that was your original intention, then thanks to you.
I actually follow optimus to exit ifcamsc much earlier.
But people always have doubt because of your past actions and not helped by a few lies you spread. If optimus turn to friend and positive, we are all glad but I take cautious for everyone share in i3 as most of them have their own agenda

Anyway, market like this need everyone to stick together to ride through the storm and win big when it rebound. Use your energy and remaining bullets wisely and don't simply tembak.

Why? The reason is very simple, the stock level of aluminium is very low (low free float) and majority of aluminium supply is stored by Detroit (about 50-79%).
Price is affected by demand and supply.

With oil price getting lower, can you guess which industry will benefit? The car !! 4x4 huge cars , Americans like it. When car industry start picking up, it will generate huge aluminium demand and don't forget the phones , tablets and computers

Currently market is very volatile but also create opportunity to buy some stock at bargain price.

PE is for looking at the past and not the future. If you buy base on PE then you would have missed out IFCAMSC and Ecoworld, I bet most of the value investor missed these two gems in its early days. PE is particular not reliable using on Software company.

You also need to study PEG ratio and get some forecast. The Estimated PE is 34 in 06/2015.

What will be the price when EPS is 0.12? Apply your calculation with some discount factor too or simply refer to CIMB calculation.


IFCAMSC PE was high because higher cost at the beginning for research and development. Once the project is delivered and out of the door and company will start getting contract and business. if you want to study using PE, then you need to project the earning and get your FY15, FY16 figure.
Ecoworld PE is from Focal Aim that they overtake. Can Ecoworld earning be twice as much as Focal Aim?
MYEG is also a software company that implement eGovernment. These things can roll balling into bigger things or even export their expertise to other country.

If you don't believe, just move on two other low PE counter, there are plenty of them.

but I don't have much time to monitor these days as it's winter time in UK. By the time I wake up is 4pm in Malaysia.

If you read the budget, a lot of infrastructure changes that will use steel, cement. Don't forget the telecommunication.


YGL I am not sure about the news but I see its eps negative most of the time, so dare not touch. But you got good eyes, so may be something brewing.
