The new warrants hv a tenure of 10 yrs expiring in 2023 & conv price of 0.1308; I think it commands at least 50% of the mother price....eg mother .09; warrants .045...

(ii) Up to 11,622,937 new ordinary shares of RM0.14 each in Sumatec arising from the exercise of the Consequential Warrants.
on the Main Market of Bursa Securities (collectively referred to as the “Proposals”).
The approval granted by Bursa Securities is subject to the following conditions:-
(a) Sumatec and M&A Securities to fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements pertaining to the implementation of the Proposals;
(b) Sumatec and M&A Securities to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the Proposals; and
(c) Sumatec to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities’ approval once the Proposals are completed.

Better SELL all WA you hv......!!!!! Almost confirmed, after Ex, you wl get 10.8% extra FREE WA and the conversion price wl be adjusted lower to 0.32....!!! If last day b4 Ex the mother share is .65, then theorectical ex price wl be 0.27, see what wl happen to WA.....!!!

For WA, the conversion price will be adjusted lower and additional WA (free of charge) will be given to existing WA holders; the quantum and adjustment will only be known 1 day b4 the new Sumatec shares are listed

wt222. frm what I see u r a seasoned, experienced n wise trader....very good case studies on MAS to co-relate wth Sumatec bcos both are having almost the same ratio of Rights issue..(MAS 4:1 Sumatec 4.1:1) I hv the same view, once the Ex date is announced, the stock will likely drop n once it's traded Ex, the OR will FLOOD the market and there wl b a huge discount in the OR price n in the process wl drag down the mother stock's price...!!! Watch out....!!!

I"m very very sure wt222 is CORRECT. If the last traded price b4 ex is 0.5, then it shld be 0.175 x 4.1= 0.7175 + 0.5 divided by 5.1 shares = 0.2387 (theorectical ex rights price)..... by the way , wt222, can you show me the calculation how u arrive at 0.14 for the new conversion price for WA ??? Judging frm the trend of this counter, the insiders r waiting for the RI to float; some "weak" holders to dispose, and in no time it wl push past 2.00...this is a tightly held counter, Taib's family and his ppl are holding no less than 70% and together with some "die-hard" SH, the free float is only around 20 to 25%, hence they wl seize every opportunity to accumulate even more when the RI shares are listed.... In the case of Rsawit, post RI and after bonus issue, the price was pushed frm .46 to 1.26 in 3 mths !!! Well, by coincidence or whatever, this is also a Sarawak counter....the regimen is the same, Ist RI, subsequently BI...

hahaha this is special counter; when the rights shares get listed, it wont go down; instead it wl go up !! Why ? bcos the free-float is little n insiders hv to mop frm market at higher premiums
