YiStock, results of my research on Songa Venus and Songa Mercur. Both are semi-sub rigs. Songa Venus begun operations in 1975 and Songa Mercur in 1989. Both the rigs are currently operating off Vietnam through companies contracted by Petronas. Songa Venus is under contract to end October 2013 and Songa Mercur's contract runs into 2014. From the info, it is likely that TGOFFS will purchase Songa Venus first and Songa Mercur later in 2014 (if that is their plans to buy two). Announcement soon? The owners are putting these two rigs up for sale, their oldest in a fleet of 5, as they require funds to finance four new rigs they ordered.

Let's face it, if NFI chocs is that good, it will be reflected in its sales, profits and ultimately price of share by now. Calvin doesn't have to spend his precious time mustering support for PMCORP from all and sundry. If the problem is in sales, perhaps appointing DKSH, with their proven expertise in marketing, will help to boost it. If it is with KKP..... A few months ago, a friend of mine who works in a listed company manufacturing ....... told me that the staff were not happy to receive more orders as they were working to their limit. I was very shocked to hear this as I expected any company would welcome more business! Is NFI in this category?

Hot, MK. I'm getting confused. I thought TGOFFS were acquiring a foreign o&g drilling company. On June 11 2013 they did clarify that they were in prelim discussion to acquire one. Did the deal breakdown and they have since turned to oil rigs?

TGOFFS is buying a foreign drilling company. This will put them in the same league as UMW O&G. If the latter's IPO is priced at RM2.80, how would you now value TGOFFS? In my opinion, how high it can go will be dependent on the strength of the new owners and those backing them! Looks like exciting times are ahead! But the suspense is killing!
