hsi found support from the yellow box as mentioned this morning .. if u don't see price breaks below the previous swing low, then the 5min uptrend is still intact !! again, monitor some kinda consolidation pattern on 5min to give u a bias to work on ...

p/s - if u are playing the mid to longer term outlook as rchi, then ps forget about intra-day patterns !! very important u MUST know what timeframe u are trading .. ps get this right else u will be spanked n whipped by mr market

hsi so far cannot break above the 50MA on 1H !! but if u look at 5min chart now, something looks a bit different .. previously price was below the 200MA on 5min .. now, price is above all 20/50/200MA on 5min .. the uptrend on 5min still looks healthy unless price retraces back below 20MA and 50MA .. look out for the yellow box on 5min for support to confirm a still legit short-term uptrend !

HY is dipping into the area of support which is very near the 200MA daily (big boys fav indicator ?) ... both 1H and daily macd histograms signal selling momentum is waning ... however, this does not mean we can jump right in ... we have to go down to 5min chart to see if in fact a rally is developing ... for conservative traders, entry signal is only when price goes back above 20MA and 50MA on 5min chart ... wud be good to see a tight consolidation box around 5min and then price breaks above it crossing over 20MA and 50MA :)

hawk, if price breaks below previous swing low now, then quite likely the previous 5-waves down are 3rd of A of 2 (as mentioned below) .. this morning spike up is 4th upleg of A and there shud be a 5th downleg of A eh ??

hello hawk .. the waves development has violated your b or wave 2 already ? the current 5 waves down cud be (1) c of A of wave 2 or (2) 3rd wave of A of wave 2 .. does not matter either one cuz if we look at price action, there is an inverse h&s and so long as price is above 5min 20MA and 50MA (plus above the inverse h&s neckline), there shud be a rally next monday with first resistance level at yellow box which is a congested area ! i think like that :)

HY is dipping into a support consolidation box on 1H .. let's see if there is any positive development on 5min later ... for eg (1) ascending triangle breakout (2) horizontal consolidation box breakout (previous 2 in blue were breakdown .. ouch!)

p/s - when we talk about 1H / 5min charts, these are all for intra-day movements ie mainly for day-trading .. if your trading timeframe is on daily/weekly, do not bother !

the best is when price is near 200MA on daily !! then we shud expect a strong rebound :) after rebound, then probably sideways ..

exactly eagle .. 2bits giving thumbs-up to joe concerning HY and then duit came and talked about HSI with reference to that statement !! now he deleted the post also ..

duit ... different time horizon !! traders esp not the position ones shud not give too much opinion to the hardcore investors ... they have their own enter and exit strategy

price is at previous swing low ... start to see MACD histogram positive divergence on 1H chart !! price is rather far away from 1H 20MA and thus expect a mean reversion to happen .. so, am looking at 5min for more legit heads-up for a short rally ! i did not long ago hawking the ascending triangle break out but it failed .. will look out for such pattern again now
