alex .. yes it has to be intra-day these days .. that's why no choice but to learn how to decipher the 5min movements with reference to higher TF SR levels .. but i am not trading this hsi beast cuz it's really not easy due to her having morning and evening sessions .. good setups may happen during the evening session and by the time morning comes u have to wait for another setup which may occur too late .. or worse still during our lunch hour :(

connie.....what u see is a double top. Distribution is about to be completed.From EW view....the sw4 is about to unfold, hence earlier said a strong pullback is to be expected .

purebull .. hawk, when price reaches a resistance level and starts to consolidate tightly, is this a sign of bulls ? :) otherwise, won't the bears start to attack ? i think for hsi, it's only safe to short when price breaks below the yellow box .. safer still is for price to retest the lower boundary of the box as resistance .. and then 1st target green box ? in any case, let's see how dow is doing at the tip of the pennant as pointed out by namaste

under main group TREND traders, there are subgroups (1) pullback traders and (2) breakout traders ... so, if u all notice our rchi dearest is mostly a BREAKOUT trader when he sees a strong trend :) he will snipe when price breaks above the last swing high .. he is not afraid of buying high cuz the trend is going UP :) and why rchi is making lots of money cuz he is mostly a TREND trader !

zen ... there are different types of traders :-
1) trend traders
only trade the underlying trends .. if trend is UP, then they only go LONG .. if trend is DOWN, then they only go SHORT
2) counter-trend traders
eg when the main trend is down, there is bound to be spike / rally, this is what this group is aiming for
3) reversal traders
eg main trend is down .. they will be monitoring for the downtrend to reverse to go long .. need more confirmation to trade

** all famous traders who make millions are TREND traders :)

*** if u are trading a counter that is below 200/50/20MAs, be quick to take profits cuz the spike cud just be a counter-trend rally ... playing such counter wud classify u as a COUNTER-TREND trader

muthu ... u need to put a caveat on that cliche phrase if u are a trader !! if that FEAR is at stage 4 (downtrend) or major ABC (the elliott term), then i don't mind to be in the FEAR camp :) this phrase only applies to long term investors who don't mind those big swings so long as the fundamentals are still strong and what-nots
