ok hawk ... by using ew (advanced TA), u have reasonable assumptions to anticipate price to move upwards !! fair enuf .. unfortunately i don't have the means to arrive at such assumptions cuz ew is not my edge :( thus, i have to depend on normal TA to anticipate what price is going to do next :)

connie....u cant see the trend from normal TA ...bcos it is the (iv) n hv jst completed the combo(iv) of c of B.The calm b4 the storm n it will take u to the earlier projected tp of B.

hi junjie .. no i don't use harmonics trading ! but i think junichiro uses it .. he also likes EW :) but he is seldom in i3 :(

Hi Connie, do you do harmonics trading ? Or u know any sifu here that uses harmonic patterns? Seems like hrc is completing its bullish butterfly pattern at its CD leg and pending for a reversal soon.

Long Term Investor
For long term investors, it's not a bad idea to take a look at the weekly chart. Currently, price is supported by weekly 50MA which is also at major horizontal support ie the congested area on the left.
Due to this strong weekly support, price is still hovering around daily 200MA.
As seen on the daily chart, price is now confined in a horizontal box.
We have to wait for a breakout from the box be it ABOVE or BELOW.
If breaks below, then price may find the next support on weekly 200MA .
I am not sure if it makes sense or not for price to drop to 200MA given current fundamentals development !!

Short Term Trader
If price breaks above the daily horizontal box, then we will probably see market structure as drawn on the 1H (60m) chart.
Price will progress to make higher high and higher low thus a probable downtrend REVERSAL in the making !
Till then, any trade opportunities now is merely a COUNTER-TREND (underlying trend is down) trade.
I can't think of any other way to play counter-trend trade but the 5-min chart (wud appreciate other traders to share their secrets !)
The entry timing has to be good cuz there are many overhead resistance levels to overcome and hence the rally may be short-lived.
Hope the boxes and levels drawn on the 5min give u some ideas how to tackle the 5-min chart to ride a counter-trend trade.

pretty .. HY got daily downtrend reversal meh ??? today only can conclude a bounce from the last swing low !! if the upleg continues and we see there is MA bullish crossing on 1H chart, then we may say a new short-term uptrend is in progress (still does not mean it's the daily downtrend reversal)

ya junjie .. i also use MA to gauge the TREND !! hmmm does look like a bull trap at this moment

junjie ... so, my 1H 20/50MA bearish crossing is not legit ... MA serves no purpose now (only effective in trending market structure) cuz price is actually consolidating around 1H ... there is no follow-thru' from the 3 red candles ! the new uptrend on 5min pushed price back up to your DTL ... looks like the uptrend on 5min is exhausting ... so, price may go back down to the lower boundary of your DTL ?? all eyes on dow again ? :(

yes rchi .. that's why as mentioned before all the rich n famous traders are mostly trend traders :) they don't go for all these meow-meow bounce !! but ah con certainly does not mind :)

thomas is right downtrend also can draw ... for downtrend rally, u draw a RETRACEMENT fibo ... for downtrend continuation, u draw the EXTENSION fibo !

Connie, yes.do u saw that it actually hit that trendline and then slightly bounce off? that trendline is strong. I usually do put and set the stop loss slightly above the trendline in case it breakout

eh cybergreen .. u want telegram group why u don't join stockalliance !! i used to have telegram installed and i joined this SA group ... OMGGGG it's like every minute there is a recommendation and updates blah blah blah ... so, left the group and deleted telegram :) too much 'noise' .. mind u some cud be genuinely good 'noise' but how they operate is really not my cup of tea

or follow stockalliance :) easiest solution ... everyday got winner !! LOL

and if u play the goreng counters .. check out brahims and asdion blueprint !!! if missed out the 1st break, 2nd break also boleh but must take profit so fast :(

pretty .. it's not a matter of luck ! from i observe, u also like momentum counters yes !! but lately a lot of this momentum is coming from counter-trend RALLIES (eg bouncing off daily 200MA) .. the surge is not from a strong 45 degree UPTREND on the daily chart and so will u-turn very fast .. u have to switch your tactic to play counter-trend and your timing must be very good cuz the upleg is very short-lived .. plus do NOT do NOT forget to draw the resistance levels from higher time frame ! this is just my humblest opinion :)
