Resistance was at 2.40, support line as well. So stay strong and let it blast through 2.45 to higher skies. It has gone past 2.47 previous high today. So the sky is the limit now.

Oil prices cannot be lowered in 2024, with the USD expected losing strength in the second half. Rate cuts will not happened in 1st half, so oil will trade at a 85-90 band. But as gold has shown, oil will definitely be on the way up past 100.

Reiterate Add, raising FY24-FY25F EPS and TP
We reiterate Add and raise our FY24-FY25F EPS to factor in our raised earnings for
Suncon. Our SOP-derived TP is lifted to RM3.45 to factor in our new Suncon TP. At our
RM3.45 TP, Sunway will trade at 23x FY25F FD P/E, above +1 s.d. from mean of 21x since
FY12, which we do not think is excessive given its strong property and construction
franchises and growing exposure to healthcare. Key downside risks: a slowing economy,
which will impact most of its divisions, and rising raw material costs. Key re-rating catalysts:
potential inclusion in the FBM KLCI, stronger property sales, and faster IPO of its
healthcare unit.

Even before RHB research is published, the price of EO has hit the target price. So what does it say? It simply mean that the stock is completely ignored by the market fundamentals, barring the change of ownership, recycling of debts and improved cash flow via Kerjaya as subcontractor to which generous payment terms can be had. The Andaman Island and The Conlay alone makes the company solid in the next few years with higher ROE and EPS. The target should be set at 1.20.

Positives:
Recent share price increase: E&O's share price has seen a steady rise in recent months, closing at 0.715 on January 12, 2024, compared to 0.415 on September 23, 2023. This could be an indicator of positive investor sentiment towards the company.
Analyst consensus: Market analysts have a mostly positive outlook on E&O, with a consensus price target of 0.77 MYR and a high estimated price of 0.88 MYR.
Significant shareholder activity: Recent acquisitions of large share blocks by substantial shareholders like Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (DIPERBADANKAN) suggest confidence in the company's future.
Improving financials: E&O's financial performance has shown some signs of improvement, with a revenue increase of 15.50% in the latest quarter compared to the previous year.
Negatives:
Volatile market conditions: The global economic climate remains uncertain, with potential for further volatility in the stock market. This could impact E&O's share price.
High debt levels: E&O carries a significant amount of debt, which could raise concerns about its financial stability in a downturn.
Competition in the property market: The Malaysian property market is competitive, and E&O faces competition from established players and new entrants.

Singapore is a city nation. It is a destiny planned. JB is a border town of Malaysia that depends on state resources and limited in that. You can't have "talent creation" if the federal government does not get involved in managing the social development of the state economy and also fiscal incentives for workers to remain in JB instead of moving across the border. Asking Johor to "rise up" is rhetoric. What is needed is for the federal government to make itself a major stakeholder in raising the GDP of Johor and implementing real fiscal incentives to RETAIN talent (and not "create') what is from the country. Stop the brain drain, in short. And get the most able to lead MIDA and other stakeholder agencies to make the impossible happen.
