I will say that the management postpone for their own advantage... for those who wanted QA to be passed may agree with management decision...it is also allowed by SC..management has strong back up from MTD.if QA not really back up by MTD i dont think management will postpone. They will just let the QA fail...so let see what they will do during this short time...

They postpone is too reconvince the shareholders based on press conference... although the postponement is not fair to those who wanted to fail the QA but for those support the QA it is something good. I see the management will do all out before the next meeting and they have advantage by clearly know who is agaisnt them based on proxy vote.. based on this they can talk to them or buy them .. but the time is limited till 10 nov where the deal will expired...

TH is initial cornerstone investor in RE and now increasing their stake in RE.If you are yield investor you may not go as a cornerstone investor and waited so long to realized your profit. Yes TH experience is not really good in O&G previously and if that is the case i will not understand why TH increase stake in April 2016 in Reach Energy if they want to avoid O&G sector..what is the motive behind that decision?

I will say that short term investor or yield investor will suffer... Price is expected to go down after QA.. But long term investor will stay with the potential future growth...

I feel strange that TH vote No since it is not TH normal approach to act as yield investor. A random look at other O&G companies reveals that Tabung Haji is a substantial shareholder in at least seven of the: Alam Maritim Resources Bhd (10.13%), Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd (8.89%), TH Heavy Engineering Bhd or THHE (29.81%), Uzma Bhd (9.63%), Icon Offshore Bhd (8.43%) and oil and gas and defence player Boustead Heavy Industries Corp Bhd (7.64%).
All these holding is for long term...Reach Energy (8%)

Agree TH will take vote NO looking at the position of heavy buying this year. They are following PAG/CS move. The having selling of wa most likely from TH. By right to increase chance MTD sould buy from them also.. Who else you think will vote no? We need another 20% to fail the QA.

MTD is one of the initial investor of RE IPO. If we read MTD biz portfolio , many biz from local and also from oversea venture. Their focus is building infrastructure and also got few related to energy related biz. Eg: MTD bought one IPP in Sri Lanka and also involve in Coal terminal project at Cigading Port, Indonesia. Therefore their involvement in Energy sector is not new.
If im MTD director, i will say RE is a potential company to expand my energy biz (oil sector) looking at the cheap price and potential of oil price go higher. By placing money in RE at the lowest risk but higher potential of growth i will do the favor to support the QA. Most likely i may take RE to private if oil price swing higher in the future. I dont think the are making the decision just for short term gain..

I cannot find other reason why the do that... Its stupid to purchase at that price unless you are are really convince that you can get good ROI from that decision..

My logic is very simple.. why need MTD to buy share to eliminate yield investor? Its not cheap.. If i place myself to MTD point of view they are convince that QA will go pass. Otherwise let me have other reasoning why the do that?

If QA approved here we have one more hurdle to pass.. The selling party may not continue to sell if oil price up fast or other party offer much better... Hope can pass this also...

So far the directors has done to their best after the failure of the Salamander deal.. This is 2nd deal and have different challenge especially to get shareholder approval. I belief someone will see the opportunity and help them to get the QA approved. See if miracle happen or not in thee fews days,,,

We entitle for 6 RI for any holding of 5 Sumatec Share:
EG : 60000 sumatec share will entitled you for max 60000* 6/5 = 72000 Right Issue
For every 2 RI will entitle for 1 Warren. So in this case entilte for 36000 Free wa

We don't know yet the RI price. But will be discounted price as compared to Sumatec price at the time they announce the RI price.

Once we know the RI Price we need to fill up the subscription form to subscribe RI and once subscribe you no need for you to pay if you sell within 5 days in the market. If not you need to pay the RI that you subscribe.

Actually play share when the KLCI is at high level eg 1800, you need to follow the tempo... last time people play systech and systech run very good... but systech cannot forever run.. you sell when the run stop because every run need rest.it slow down once reach 39 cents... then see where this money goes... it goes to O&G eg Perisai. the Perisai run kuat2.. reach 72.5 today pull back to 65 cents...The trend is similar... operator switch from one counter to another. Now Systech at support level 31-32 cents and these money come back here again.
The most important thing is to find your entry at support level and release it once touch resistant level..

Long term yes it may go up as further as per what you predicted but before it reach your long term target it may be roller coaster ride.. I will play long term if the KLCI drop below 1500 level...
