mpay is a sure loser..
Mpay myteksi terminal is not moving anywhere and likely bank will be terminate the contract.

I did mention that mpay is yet to be ready to support epayment in the m'sia banking.   
Anyone who bite the bait and get caught got to blame themselves.   
My source told me that GHL has been appointed to roll out the epayment services

My guess is Tenaga. They will make huge profit with falling o&g.

BNM is serious on e-payment and they have set initiatives and all banks have been assigned a target from 2015 to 2020 to achieve it. 
Banks will choose their vendor and agents base on their capabilities.
I am in my opinion Mpay is far behind when compare to GHLSys and some non listed company in this business.
Do spend some time to listen the BFM bf grill with GHLSys Ceo and you may get some clue.

Tornado, the e-payment project may take a few years to complete
There are a few issues related to the funding cost to role the project.
What I know is that BNM is pushing the banks to move this e-payment.
Hence banks will decide the terminal vendor selection. It could be a dark horse.

Tornado, main competitor is GHLSYS which is listed in Bursa for supplying terminal. Non listed company like NERA, Paysys and etc also involved in the terminal business.
The government via BNM is pushing very hard on the e-payment.
At the same time the EMV business will also prosper.

There is an announcement published tdy.

I think the profit boost mainly from the taxi1m income.
Moreover industry is pushing for paywave or paypass just like touch&go.
This will give mpay advantage to charge maybank/merchant more on this additional equipment for this services.

Hi Lee, I also from pymt services industry, the new venture(internet) does not require any terminal. Internet biz just need to sign up with an acquiring bank.
For item (3) MOST important.... My view is that Custom would not allow TRS on internet transaction. You can check with other country TRS...

It seem like mpay is going in to tourism industry targeting China market based on the docs published.
It will be a uphill battle after MH370 accident.

I was told that the contra exposure was very high on mpay-wa during the 4 ace counters sudden crash. Broking firm imposed upfront payment after that incident. 
Then contra kakis move to speculate the mother share. 
Good thing is that the coming weeks price will be stable with less contra kakis.

I was informed by by friend that my current broking firm has impose upfront payment on Mpay effective yesterday..
This could slow down the moment.

Mpay went down could be trigger by the sudden drop of 4 counters (VIS, MNC, Solutn & Itronic) couple with Bursa issued UMA to them.
What if broking firms impose upfront payment on this 4 counters.
Will it indirectly further drag down Mpay or otherwise.
