WITH LANDBANK
Strengthens Position as Top E-Government Portal in Philippines
Petaling Jaya, 20 November 2019 –MYEG Philippines, Inc. (“MYEG Philippines”) continues to make
notable progress in reinforcing its position as the country’s leading e-government portal with the
commencement of its online services in partnership with Land Bank of the Philippines (“LANDBANK”),

More payee agencies and merchants are expected to be onboarded progressively in subsequent phases
of the ongoing implementation of the service.
The launch of the service is a realization of a partnership between MYEG Philippines and LANDBANK
that entails the implementation and integration of MYEG Philippines’ Electronic Payment and Collection
System by LANDBANK. As the official depository bank of the Philippines and a fully government-owned
entity, LANDBANK has more than 400 enrolled merchants, comprising national government agencies,
local government units, as well as private enterprises.
Filipinos now have the convenience of being able to transact online through MYEG Philippines's portal
with LANDBANK’s enrolled government agencies and merchants and pay through their preferred methods
– be it electronically or physically at any of MYEG Philippines’s over 40,000 over-the-counter locations.
The commencement of the new service marks the latest offering by MYEG Philippines, complementing
its other existing online services such as National Bureau of Investigation clearance and renewal and
further solidifying its leading position as the preferred single window for Filipinos to not only transact
hassle-free with all levels of government, but also to easily access a broad range of commercial products
and services, such as insurance coverage and personal loans.

1. INTRODUCTION
The Board of Directors of IJGB wishes to announce that the Solicitors of Ikhmas Jaya Sdn.
Bhd. (“IJSB”), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, had on 14 November 2019
received a sealed copy of the Writ of Summons (“Writ”) and Statement of Claim (“SoC”) from
the solicitor of ASM Development (KL) Sdn Bhd (“the Plaintiff”).
2. DETAILS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES LEADING TO THE FILING OF THE WRIT AND SOC
The Plaintiff is the owner of a project known as “Cadangan Pembangunan 39 Tingkat yang
mengandungi 7 blok pangsapuri servis (4214 unit) iaitu : Blok A-29 Tingkat (678 unit), Blok
B-29 Tingkat (618 unit), Blok C-29 Tingkat (560 unit), Blok D-29 Tingkat (678 unit), Blok E29 Tingkat (618 unit), Blok F-29 Tingkat (560 unit), Blok G-29 Tingkat (502 unit), 8 Tingkat
podium tempat letak kereta, 7 tingkat ruang perniagaan (Aras 1-7), 1 tingkat aras kemudahan
(Aras 9), 4 tingkat tempat letak keraeta (Aras LG1, basement 1, basement 2 dan basement
3) di atas Lot 36190, Mukim Petaling, Kuala Lumpur (“the Project”).
The Project is divided as follows:-
a) Package 1A - Diaphragm Wall and 1 No. Test Pile; and
b) Package 1B - CBP Wall, Bore Pile, Rock Excavation, Earthwork, Earthening
System, Basement 3 to Level LG1 and Plunging Column.
Both Package 1A and Package 1B are hereinafter collectively referred to as "the Works".
IJSB had been awarded by the Plaintiff the Works and that IJSB would use reasonable skill
and care in undertaking the Works in accordance to the design prepared by the Plaintiff’s
Consultant.
The Plaintiff claimed that IJSB had delayed in completing the Works, is in breach of the
agreement and works done by IJSB were defective for the Project. The Consultant of the
Plaintiff had terminated the contract and services of IJSB. As a result of the above, the Plaintiff
was obliged to employ another contractor, to complete the Works at an increased price.
3. DETAILS OF THE CLAIM
The Plaintiff made the following Claims against IJSB:-
a) damages for negligence to be assessed; or alternatively
b) the sum of RM1,841,517.57 being cost for the set-off item including the increase in
cost for diaphragm wall;
c) the sum of RM1,600,000.00 being the costs of rectifying diaphragm wall constructed
without water-stop (Non Compliance Record issued) and costs of re-strengthening
of the diaphragm wall;4 and
2
d) the sum of RM3,512,101.13 being the costs of rectifying defective diaphragm walls
where the steelbars were exposed, wall bulging beyond tolerant and leakage at
panel joint for Basement 1;
e) sum of RM4,571,207.22 being the costs of rectifying defective diaphragm walls
where the steelbars were exposed, wall bulging beyond tolerant and leakage at
panel joint for Basement 2;
f) the sum of RM640,320.00 being the costs of rectifying CBP Wall constructed for
using understrength (defective) T40 rebar and casting concrete without
Consultant approval and pile necking (Non Compliance Record issued) and costs
of re-strengthening;
g) the sum of RM300,000.00 being the costs of rectifying defective CBP walls hacking
bulging from gridline N to D at Basement 2, Basement 1 and LG Floor;
h) the sum of RM530,721.30 being the costs of rectifying defective CBP walls hacking
bulging claimed by third party contractor;
i) the sum of RM330,000.00 being the supervision fee for rectification works;
j) interest at the rate of 5% per annum from the date of judgment until full and final
settlement;
k) costs; and
I) such further or other relief as the Honourable Court may deem fit.
4. FINANCIAL AND OPERATIONAL IMPACT
The Company is currently assessing the financial and operational impact on the Group for
the financial years ending 31 December 2019 and 31 December 2020 and a separate
announcement will be made on the same accordingly.
5. DIRECTORS’ AND MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS INTEREST
None of the Directors and/or Major Shareholders of IJGB and/or persons connected to them
have any interest, direct or indirect in the Writ and SoC.
6. STEPS TAKEN IN RESPECT OF THE WRIT AND SoC
The Management is of the view that the Plaintiff does not have sufficient legal grounds for
the claims.
The Company is in consultation with its solicitors on the appropriate action to be taken to
ensure that the rights of the Company are protected.

Prasarana is the owner of the Project and SCSB is the awarded Works Package Contractor for the contract known as “Contract No. Prasarana/GSC/CTT/2.06080/2017: Construction and Completion of Guideway, Stations Iconic Bridge, Park and Rides, Ancillary Buildings and other Associated Works for Package GS07-08 for Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia” in relation to the Project.

The Plaintiff is claiming, amongst other, for the following:-

Special damages of RM711,367,434.46 and/or to be determined by the Senior Assistant Registrar or Deputy Registrar of the High Court of Malaya;
The costs between the solicitor and client amounts to RM400,000.00 or cost to be determined by the Honourable Court;
Interest rate of 5% per year from the date of trespass i.e. 30 April 2018 until the date of filing of the writ and from the date of the Honourable Court’s order until the full settlement; and
Court’s declarations, injunctions, orders and other reliefs that the Honourable Court deems fit and proper.
SunCon is currently seeking the professional advice of its solicitors on the matter and will make further announcement on the developments in due course.

（吉隆坡7日讯）MYEG服务（MYEG，0138，主板科技股）的外劳工作配对服务，及即将展开的签证特许经营业务，预期将支撑公司的盈利表现，分析员预期即使没有获得新合约，该公司下个财政年已经可以稳定取得20%的盈利成长。

大华继显分析员表示，我国政府正与孟加拉举行政府对政府（G2G）会议，以解决大部份悬而未决的问题，冀望能够尽快签署一项谅解备忘录，以扭转当地政府先前不允许该国公民前来大马工作的决定。

分析员认为，这有望大幅提升MYEG服务外劳工作配对服务，并预计将从2019财政年末季开始看到强劲的按季盈利增长。

接下来，2020财政年则可能因为更高的职位配对服务和电子政府合约，而实现约20%的盈利增长。

MYEG目前的电子政府特许经营权将在明年5月到期。分析员估计，管理层已提交延长合约申请，并相信在没有其它选择的情况下，MYEG服务能够延长该合约期限。

同时，政府也正讨论与外国基金建立合作伙伴关系，设立外劳住宿；一旦成事，MYEG服务可向这些基金租赁资产，采取不拥有资产的情况下经营外劳住宿的策略。

根据分析员了解，该资金高达10亿令吉，将用作建设20至25个住宿，可容纳6万至10万名外劳。

假设每名外劳的平均每月租金为150令吉，预计MYEG服务可从中取得约20%到30%的净赚幅，长远可推高公司每年2100万至5400万令吉的净利。

此外，期待已久的外国签证服务合约招标也预料在11月展开，分析员预期MYEG服务将成为此次招标的竞标者，因为MYEG的IT解决方案和合作伙伴关系，可增强大马旅游业，并带来价值。

分析员指出，MYEG服务具有提供额外销售服务的能力，若赢得这项特许经营合约，有望大幅提升MYEG服务的收入。

有鉴于此，分析员认为，该股自10月16日以来，遭外资抛售暴跌16%，是不合理的。

大华继显维持该股“买进”投资评级，目标价为1.71令吉。
