Was just reading some of the comments in the top glove forum, there are quite a few doom and gloom people with negative perspectives in there , yet unless they bought in just last week all the real shareholders will be laughing all the way to the bank!

Thanks for sharing that @ zoro_roronoa. I knew that shareholder approval was required, but not the actual date of the meeting. So all the guys lamenting poor performance in this forum, nothing can really be expected prior to that date. If when the pearl glove acquisition then happens share value should shoot up. The value of the Pearl glove transaction was only 22 million, they already have the money.

Yes but PP will dilute shareholder value so this is not great for Asiaply. 'Buy on rumor sell on news'..news is out price has come down. One of the directors just disposed of a million shares on today.

Those other projects would not have stacked up so they dropped them and moved on. The glove project has a lot more substance, purchase of Pearl Glove, Supply contract with America, raising finance via PP and ESOS. If they complete the purchase of Pearl GLove in the next month or so then the share price will improve considerably.

If they just wanted to pump the share price they could have done so with out all that effort. slow and steady is better than rocket one minute and nothing the next.

@menort ...the stock is going up yet you still so negative. As you say AT asked for a two (2) month extension for the purchase of Pearl Glove . I think that is them pushing like mad to get it done as fast as possible. I never saw fast on the menu in Malaysia, if they do it in that time frame its like virtually record speed.

Move past low of RM0.90, spent most of the day at RM0.10 ...Encouraging.

@ sayalabur the wonders of hindsight. Completely my fault as you say I just had not equated you statement, 'Lock & load ladies and gentleman as share price of GP will sky rocket after this.' to falling sens 20 in one day!

@sayalabur where did you get your information on this ? Share price dived from 0.74 to just under 0.585, after the signing. I am pretty sure if I had not read your article I would never have invested. Revenue to double in 2020 ? They are saying it may contribute 30% in 2022!

@survivor1818...demand is still there and order books full for the big 4, but how high is their share price! The day we went into lock down top glove already RM5++ I think I wont buy as covid-19 is already priced in as that was the share highest price ever ...now RM 22! Even if it halves again still will have doubled in value from 1Q. Whereas AT trading at RM0.85 at close today roughly within normal parameters.

At this point of the game who has more at stake?

stock market is having a rough time, some counters are swinging about wildly, but this counter actually fairly steady one, sure drop a sens last few days, but not very volatile.

If you rewind 9 months on November the 19th in 2019 AT was just a standard engineering company with not even a hint of diversification and its share price was trading at RM0.90. When the dust settles what ever happens your still holding a share in an establish company that been trading for over sixteen years. However on the upside if the Pearl Glove transaction proceeds there is significant room for a substantial upside.

Reasons for the low price over the last few days, GDP results, effected all counters, ESOS shares sold, understandable. Putin finding a vaccine that's not been properly tested, which created some market panic. Let some time pass....

@Sneakpeek I hope not they have just done the ESOS at that price! I would expect most counters to go up tomorrow as it was the release of GPD results which caused the market to go into flux last week.

@helterskelter that is a concern, but AT have a glove supply contract in place with America, they are also part way through the acquisition of Pearl Glove and they have just undertaken an ESOS, so a bit more than just a press release.

Covid is rampaging around the world, there are over 21 million covid infected people in the world and the numbers are currently increasing by around 1/4 of a million per day!!!...All of a sudden gone by Jan 2011?..sadly this is very unlikely and on top of this there are second waves everywhere....we are just so lucky in malaysia.

Every rubber glove company is buying land for new factories, not just one or two...all of them.

Vaccines take many years to be developed and tested and most vaccines fail at stage three of testing. All of a sudden we are just going to find one in less than half the time it took to find all of other vaccines in the world ...really ?

GDP results come out market drop across the board, there are wild swings across many counters. AT drops maybe a 1 cent. This counter should fly...be patient.

Russia announced a vaccine, all covid related counters showed a lot of volatility, but some are already back to par.e.g. asiaply. To cut a long story short, Russia have skipped a lot of steps and have not released any data on the vaccine.

Worldwide covid infections are still increasing, we are very lucky in Malaysia, but the scary thing is how quickly this virus is causing second spikes across the world. Rubber gloves even with a vaccine in place still have a long run. This company should do well, many others companies are trying to get into the rubber glove business, but this company has already acquired a rubber glove company and is planning on many lines of glove production. The other companies have not got so far...this is a race !
