@coldman not only that he then bought another 31,000,000 shares @0.337 on the 22nd feb. suspect report will be very good and they just don't want the share price shooting up any further in the short term at least until they buy back 10%.

So reading between the lines they did not make enough profit to repay the 260 million usd on time and had to extend the time frame for another 12 months, the interest on that loan must be criplinging.

Plus they described the business in there own press release as 'remaining 'soft with relatively subdued industry activity'. Kenanga have now also revised the share price from 0.385 to 0.21 with a sell recommendation....sure going to limit up anytime soon !

I remember when asiaply got rid of uncle dons, I used to eat and drink their and it was always packed. I thought that was a mistake, but in the end it turned out to be a very astute disposal just before covid.

The also had enough business to deem it viable to buy a 30% stake in GB Plas Sdn Bhd (GPSB) . Plus their subsidiary Asia Poly Bio Gas Sdn Bhd has been granted a feed-in approval by SEDA to supply biogas to TNB. The 2-megawatt biogas plant will supply Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) under SEDA’s feed-in tariff system for 16 years. when all this revenue filters through ...yep maybe RM.070 - RM1.00.

I thought to buy this at 0.17, but I never felt happy about share splits. Has the share split happened ? If so why did the price not drop down by 50% ? Where do people think this can go to...did I miss the boat or is it ok to buy in now ? or are people anticipating some level of consolidation now ?

Yes Asiapoly future is bright...but a lot of stocks are languishing during this MCO with good fundamentals. Asiaply hit its low just recently and had a little rally to just above RM0.30.. now some retracement / rest before the the next surge. Rome was not built in a day.

Asiaply has always had a habit of ralling in the afternoon session...

@ LimituPrince the current factory I believe is limited to 800mt. However in the press the directors have hinted about a contract that they are after that needs much more supply and acrylic of a certain good quality. Asiaply use a cold factory manufacturing method, which gives greater visual acuity than the hot manufacturing process which is more commonly used. They indicated this new venture might be in either the automotive or solar industry.
In order to meet this requirement they have already bought a 30% stake in GP Plas factory which was only running at around 60% capacity. Plus they are in the process of acquiring about 10 acres of land in the Klang Valley to set up a further factory and with their current cash on hand circa 64 million they are not likely to need any significant borrowings.

Does any one know the dividend dates for 2021. By that I mean dates you need to be holding shares to receive the dividend and ex divend date, plus payment dates ?

My understanding is that all the good news / business fundamentals are still there...what changed was the maturation of the warrants and some larger investor holdings. Hence my thoughts are asiaply share price is near the bottom and there should be a strong recovery during 2021. I am therefore content to continue holding for what is potentially a significant upside. Same reasons I invested in Jaks.

Asiaply is not just a 'ppe' counter. They are building a new factory, which will double their current production capacity. Once they can deliver more acrylic products they will then be able to supply the automotive and solar power industries. Plus they also have a steady income from their biogas project which will supply power to TNB for 21 years under the initial contract.

Asiaply is sitting on a load of cash with good fundamentals ....time and patience is needed. Malaysia stock market investors seem to favour poor performing companies with debt. Even top glove making super profit is falling. I bought top glove as well just before christmas...lol

Some big fund bought in at RM 41.6 ....so ....good things are round the corner for asiaply.

I thought all the warrants had been exercised...hopefully that is the last batch now....

That was the end of the warrant conversion, unless some are added on monday. So share price should stabilise or go up I am theorizing from now on.

@JoyOhi... please let me know when you buy in . I sold and am now just waiting for a good opportunity to buy back in. HLA are anticipating a pull back, 'Key supports are pegged at RM0.34 (upper BB), RM0.30 and RM0.28 (mid BB).'
If i can buy at RM0.30 I would just buy back in and then hold through any subsequent swings.
