Ismail said all Top Glove workers involved in the cluster will be issued Home Surveillance Order (HSO) for 14 days, and will wear wristbands for surveillance, have daily health checks, and undergo a repeat Covid-19 test on the 13th day of their HSO.Those who are required to be under quarantine will not be allowed to work until their screening test results come out negative and the HSO release given.He added that all costs for the workers' Covid-19 screening, quarantine facilities and related food, transport and accommodation costs will be borne by their employer, Top Glove.

Top Glove, the exercise to further improve the company’s workers’ living conditions began in July 2020 and is expected to be completed by December 2020. Efforts to source for more accommodations and improve existing worker accommodations are ongoing, the company said.
As of yesterday, It was understood that the department had not notified Top Glove of any follow-up action by the authorities after the Ipoh factory workers’ accommodation visit last Thursday

The Health Ministry has detected four new Covid-19 clusters today, one each in Kuala Lumpur, Sabah, Selangor and Kelantan, said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
the cluster was known as the Tapak Bina Sungai Mulia cluster in Titiwangsa district in which the early cases were confirmed positive today, as a result of workplace screening at a construction site.
To date, a total of 124 people were tested, of which 23 were confirmed Covid-19 positive,.
