What do you make of the comment in the Supermax briefing notes to analysts, that refer to the last of the low price sales having been shipped out in May? If we knew the proportion of June 20 Qtr quantities sold at that price, a more confident estimate of revenue (and profit) could be made.

ans : We hav no idea how much proportion of that willbe. I beleive that is the commited lot at US$60 precovid price which is at 30% OEM portion. Now the OEM portion would hav been at 5%.

That said, it makes sense that their guidance pointed to much strong quarters after that as they reap the full benefit from higher production and higher ASPs. I guess other manufacturers will also be in a similar boat.

Ans: Supermax decided not to lock in price with the distributor. They can do that becoz they simply hav OBM channel to fall bak on. Infact they deal direct with Government agency ,NFO n consumer direct now. Thus the reuce of OEM to 5% from 30%. For other glove counter, Topglove might be the only one of the big four which can do that now. But might not be so much as their OBM channel is about 20-30% only. Not to sa other OEM manufacuter with lock in capacity n price. alto they can increase but not so much as supermax due to their commitment. From KOSSAN HARTA, u can understand why. IF they can increase price immediately their profit will be very much higher in the latest qtr.
They can increase price albeit at a slower n lower percentage compared to supermax.
