Company with Dupont's 10-yr ROE...@12%, 5-yr...15% n 3-yr...18%...Will generate cash flow year in year out. They usually have little or zero long term debts. The important things are do all its subsidiaries create value for its shareholders..?... that's with all the growth stated above...? Sometimes companies can create...too good to be true book Value, etc...but all their subsidiaries are performing below average....Not even higher than its WACC...so how to create Cash Flow...???...So they need to borrow, private preferred placement, right issue, etc. So Analyse n invest wisely...!!!

Ha...Earnings is crucial to stock market value appreciation...erratic earnings, decreasing earnings, negative earnings, have detrimental effects on stock Price. Earnings must be in upward trend for at least 8 quarters to 12 quarters, and annual earnings growth must be at least 3 years. High book Value, NCAV or net tangible asset value, n cash value, don't uptrend stock Price. Especially cash value or floor value...is approximately its lowest price...if any financial crisis...Or huge decrease in Earnings. For annual earnings growth... unless there is a financial crisis...decrease earnings must not be more than 2 yesrs n negative earnings... single year is already bad. Others than earnings growth prospects... market bullishness, and especially changes in bond rates play very crucial roles...in determining stocks prices volatility. TQ.
