Nowadays cost n risk management, account management, maintenance n equipment management, manpower services, n other irrelevant to core business structures are outsourced. You only see permanent employee in core business structures, because of how efficient the business are managed for the benefit of shareholders, in the expense of non core employees. MNC contract extension n new one is the one the management hinted quite some times ago...The crucial one is its China operations efficiency... probably within some dark clouds...as I said not full blown trade war...VS can collaborate with china OEM or their MNC to do better in future...we never know...I think VS won't give up on China operations. Nowadays most companies don't indicate par value anymore... probably in BURSA still have. Dividend don't pay in percentage of par value. So many younger generation like to trade... Algorithms traders...share price can drop 50% in very short period of time...and the opposite can happen anyway...more supply the better n there must be the demand.
Overall... VS is the leader in OEM industry... supply is good...demand also good. Earnings can move Price, plus demand, news, fund support n important...most important is liquidity inflow...so interest rates play a major part of it. Other markets news also have certain influence on certain business. Look at the macro...GDP growth, geopolitical factors, and the worst is financial crisis or default of country bonds. Airlines are very, very, competitive industries... sometimes can be suicidal if it's not well established. Plus cost per available seat-kilometre must be reasonable low. Future oil prices will be hovering around present price...but it's always volatile. Any financial crisis can be suicidal, but only short term, for all business n leisure travellers. Overall it still come back to Aesop, "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." Why two...why not one or three...one will not be interesting, three will be over optimistic. Well best budget airlines in the world...but hope management won't be complacent...still need to work double hard...to perform with more efficiency. BTW always set your own target to Sell...in order to reduce or zero down your cost of capital...so whatever your capital will be free shares or around 10-12% DY. If company don't pay dividend or other benefit...it is not worthwhile to Hold long term. Plus always analyse its fundamental, especially its Balance sheet, every year, for long term investment. If fundamental eroded just Sell. Or you have other better investment graded company. GL.

Plus is it a niche n branded products...with long history of sustainable sales. Any increase in cash flow from operations is retained, book value will increase, so the growth prospects is important. Average PE, PEG, DY, ROE, ROIC, etc. Whatever product or service the crucial point is the demand, even though it has a conservative growth, in sync with GDP growth, consumer n industrial demand n supply. Lot of factors to consider. Discounted owner earnings is one the factor...but not 100 correct... valuation is an Arts n not Maths or Science...TQ.
