I rate as HOLD. But I actually sold off. Sell in May and go away. Come back later.

More comfortable with tambun compared to holding gob or malton.what do rest of you think?

I think the outlook for the property sector is going to be challenging. But I like the marketing strategy of tambun. Affordable pricing. Should be better insulated from downturn than competitors.

That is what impressed me. Low price purchase compared to competitors.mah sing got theirs atv30psf. Most importantly good corporate governance. No related party transaction

I like the WA better, as it is now trading at discount.

Not much of retail participation in these past two days rise, despite increased volume.

The emphasis should have been on MINIMUM.

I will sell in May and go away. Enjoy World Cup in June and July.
Look again at 5191. This year, DY minimum of 5%. Yes, you read it right. 5%. Declaration of potential conflict of interest: I have already bought.

If Calvin were right, now that Mr Market hates 5191, then it is time to purchase. Btw Mr Teh just exercised his ESOS and converted his warrants.
2014-04-29 20:49 | Report Abuse
I think the warrant is more attractive, trading at a slight premium and good gearing. Expires in 2017. No dividend though. But should appreciate in line with mother share.

The higher earning is within expectation. Following the purchase of subsidiary from Nadayu last year, all earnings from subsidiary will be attributed to the group.

4.6 cents for FY 2013. For 2014, most conservative estimate is 10cents.
2014-04-28 20:45 | Report Abuse
RHB gave the FV as 2.2. EPS for Q1 2014 is 6+ cents. If you annualised it, EPS for 2014 should, most conservatively, be 25 cents. Pay out of min 40% as dividend; comes to 10 cents. If based on the FV of 2.2, the DY is 4.5%. Very attractive for a growth stock. My opinion is this stock deserve a revaluation.

The long overdue correction is here, starting with GOB
2014-04-28 16:35 | Report Abuse
And today someone is artificially keeping the price up, by selling small amount at 0.91 and above. I think the price is due for correction in spite of the share acquisition by Ong and son, and privatisation rumours

And they are not part of the board or management. They are Nadayu. The shares are part of payment for sale in their subsidiaries. Now they are cashing out to fund their own projects. I take all these news in positive light. Even with so many share being disposed in open market, the share price can sustain.

I wonder why/how people make distinction about GOB and Malton (names apart), as both are essentially Desmond Lim-related.

Despite all these, I would sleep better if I am more invested in TI. In Teh Kiak Seng, I trust.

I am very positive on the development in SPS. First hand experience. Spread my portfolio among TI, GOB, Malton, TI-W. As of now, TI is almost fully valued, TI-W is fairly illiquid. GOB shows great volume and lots of trading interest; its price almost caught up with Malton.

Interesting to note that, OSK feels Tambun will benefit more/most from influx of investment into Batu Kawan, despite their landbank is mainly in Simpang Ampat; not Malton or GOB which have plenty of landbank in Batu Kawan.
2014-04-15 13:02 | Report Abuse
OSK increases TP to RM 2.50, at its RNAV. But the volume, especially the warrant is very limited.

Not concerned by the share disposal by nadayu. They are merely cashing out on their sale of share in the subsidiaries to TI

I beg to differ. The converse is more likely to be nearer to truth. Even The Enlightened One encouraged His followers to question and discover by themselves, rather than follow blindly. Even the statistics/data can lie

If I were acting on behalf of MHA, I would charge similar toll rate as 1st bridge to build up traffic volume initially.

Forgive me for being devil's advocate. Excess retail space is a real worry. Just as there are success stories like MidValley and Pavillion, there are also Penang Times Square(s), Viva Mall(s) etc. Look at the historical chart dated as far back as 15-18 years. Tell me what is the difference and similarity.
Ans: same board, new CEO
