Trive Property Group Bhd will work with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to develop a solar farm with a gross development value of RM150 million, through a collaboration agreement between the university and VSolar Group Bhd.
Trive will support VSolar by supplying solar components such as solar panels, solar inverters, battery chargers, batteries, solar pumps, mounting frames, trackers and accessories. UTM and VSolar had signed a joint venture (JV) agreement to develop solar energy generation facilities and conduct research and development activities into commercialisation of renewable energy technologies. UTM will provide a suitable site of approximately 20 acres per 10 megawatts (MW) for solar energy generation facilities up to a capacity of 30MW.
