I studied the MCEMENT trend , it took them about 7 months to reach RM4.3 (from 2.5) , however , the PE is 21X , so I believe YTLP may need shorter time to achieve that as long as the EPS maintain at 8 to 10sens consistently..

YTLP is traded at PE 7.6X now , and YTL traded at 14X , hence, YTLP is definitely undervalued stock .. on top of that , company do not have any near terms threads to their current and near future new business plan , really don't understand why the share price can not goes up above RM 3 ..

downside risk for YTLP is low based on few facts ,
1. be included in the KLCI index started from next week (may attract more fund manager to invest .
2. Low PE (lowest in the industry )
3. Stable income and profitability (based on past few q results ) and no near future thread to their core business .
4. strong business pipeline , new WTE power plant , Data center , Digital bank , solar energy farm ..
5. If the interest rate in UK come down , then another good opportunity is to activate back their UK properties project since they already hold the big size of land there , it is matter of time to re activate the project as the demand is there based on the research..

that is the reason why I invested in YTLP ..

On top of what @dragon328 mentioned , the electricity tariff for retail in Singapore is higher for this quarter ( Oct to Dec) , the USEP is also higher (up to Nov) , this indicated the revenue could be higher as well for Q2 ...

Based on HL IB recommendation , YTLP is the champion in terms of increment % , lets hope this is happening in 2024 ...

Singapore USEP Price , July : S$167.5 VS Oct : S$221.3 , Aug : S$158.8 VS Nov : S$177.7 , so far , the price is higher than previous quarter , if Dec remain the trend , then , that means , the revenue of YTLP will be higher in this quarter as well even this is only contribute 20 to 30% of their portfolio ..

YTLP shall be included into the KLCI index started from next week , with these new development , may help to improve the PE expectation , right now most of the IB use 7-8X as reference is really too low for a company have such a good profitability record and potential .. Tenaga is having 19X PE now , hope YTLP can catch up this trend as well ..

I just read the Thailand AAX report , still in red (loss 1,694,382,000 Baht )..hope it will not affect AAX ..

YTLP could be one of the most stable company in Bursa for next two years , the next QR result could help to justify it ..the reason is very simple , Singapore have high demand of electricity , most of their retail business have two years contract and they also secured low natural gas contract for next few years ,so they just need to ensure other divisions do not fall into red , we shall see EPS easily 8 to 10 sens per quarter ...

Singapore power consumption in 2022 was 54.9TWh and first half 2023 was 26.5TWh , if the trend remain , the whole year consumption should be similar to 2022 , too bad , I can not find the monthly data from the web , or else , that should help us to understand better before the QR release .. right now , just need to wait patiently ..

YTLP is aggressively expanding their source of income , expect to hear more new business plans soon ..

YTLP PE is low , I guess this is due to the past inconsistent performance , hence, company need to demonstrate the consistent profitability to convince investors their real potential , if they can maintain EPS more than 10sens consistently in next 2 quarters , don't see why the share price can not be more than 4 . I believe worst is over for YTLP , lets the next QR to help us justify this ..

According to the their investor presentation in Apil 2023, most of their customer in Singapore had signed up the contact in next two years , plus they have relatively low natural gas contract in next two years as well , hence, the current lower rate shall not affect their profit , we shall see the next QR result , that shall help to justify this .. I also would like to know if that is true ..

the next catalyst is the QR , if result is good , then EPS increase , automatically all IB will adjust the TP accordingly , so, just need to wait for another 18 to 20 days ... before that , any new positive corporate news may help to push up the share price , lets see ..
