hi. perhaps you missed my statement about economies of scale. Say if the demand of goods increases, you will need more inputs of course, however, your variable cost like electricity, machinery and labour will not go up as much. because you can leverage on that cost. and buying in bulk and large quantity has its advantages eg. discounts, rebates, savings on transporting cost.
Note: All else being constant.

by theory, this is what should happen, of course the reality might deviate far from the theory.

Although i do not see whats the hype about the currency thingy, if you look back in past 5 years earning, they were doing well even when the USD did not strengthen.

Simple economics, when home currency weakens, local goods become cheaper and more attractive to foreign buyer. Even if Homeritz have to buy in terms of USD for their cost of goods, the attractiveness of RM will increase demand, therefore improving sales. if the demand increases more than the amount required to buy the inputs, you will get growth. and in economies of scale, the more you produce, the cheaper the price per unit of goods sold.

0.70, 0.80, 0.92, 1.00, 1.20, 1.50,1.60 how much do you this this company is worth? buy as u wish, sell as you wish! cheers :)

Those that did valuation on padini before will find their valuation distorted. We can no longer confidently predict their earnings anymore.

Since when did this became a "buy & pray" counter? We just need to look at the facts and think logically. Buy, hold or sell is own choice.

maybe u guys need some enlightenment. warren buffet came out from the shadows of his great teacher the late ben graham. now he no longer just look for bargain stocks with cheap price. he look for good companies at a fair price. and we all know there are reasons why companies are selling a dirt cheap price.

im watching october sell off happening again ! teehee !
