Think again, why the buying was huge yesterday for CT despite the falling price of its mother shares??

Chances are everyone else also thinking alike, that when the mother shares rally in the next few weeks, the CT will rally even more (as this is a typical pattern)....

So, very much so that punters believe that market is over-reacting to the news and possibly a big rise is coming too...

EPF has been buying up DRBHICOM in the past few trading days, after they sold off earlier.... Next week trading will be for dividend play.... All in all, this counter should see some rally in the coming few trading sessions.

The fear is always the threat of a new player offering cheaper, and lure the customers away from AirAsia.... But, seriously, is it that easy?? Wouldn't there be any barrier for the new player to overcome??

I think what Bursa is lacking is the marketing of the bourse..... SGX may be small, but it is almost known to punters globally..... ask them about Bursa, and probably they would have to pause for a while.... sigh!!

The accounting standards allow the recognition of one-off gains and these rules are very strict. Given that the gains are recognised within the ambit of the accounting framework, that means it can be used to declare dividends. As dividends can only be declared when u have recorded accounting profits (not operating profits), and that is a good move for shareholders.

Anyway, AirAsia counter is in a state of FLUX today, and for those who see opportunities would therefore buy now. That's market forces at play now.

Then, u should sell now at 3.06 to make contra profits....

when u hold call warrants, that is already a very high risk investment..... u can't just keep it like mother shares..... u have to buy and sell, and possibly sell first n buy back later.... that's y those who make profits out of call warrants r those who hold big chunk like the investment bankers who created them..... their tactics is always sell when there is a rally, coz they know they can buy back later at cheaper price.....

In that case, u r probably better take ur eyes off the screen for awhile. Otherwise, the blood pressure can keep going up, not good for health...... sigh! :(

In fact, AirAsia counter has been reacting strangely after they announced their quarterly results. The results were phenomenal, even the analysts suggested BUY. However, the selling gained momentum thereafter.

As far as the EPF is concerned, they have been buying up big time. So, the only rationale is that punters are playing contra to push it lower, before making a rally. But probably timing is not right at the moment when the whole of KLCI is under pressure.

Nonetheless, AirAsia is a counter with heavy foreign shareholding and their business model is Asian centric rather than Malaysia focus. So, very likely the value proposition will surface soon.

All in all, this is still an undervalued counter as most analysts would concur.

Look at the volume trade today after the news is out. Is this the sign of things to come??

So it is time to put on the TRADER's cap and leave the INVESTOR mentality aside for now. If u look at the trade of CJ this morning, u could have sold at 10 and bought back at 9. For today's buy at 9, u could have sold at 9.5 during closing.

So, all in all, CJ can still make money. The CJ pattern is a very clear sign of contra traders playing among themselves. So, it's really for those who believe in "High Risk, High Rewards".

The fundamentals of DRBHICOM r very good, looking at the news that r out in the public domain. Unless someone is trading on insider info, the downward trend can't sustain forever. Also, need to remember the dividend entitlement.

At least closed 4 sen higher on a Friday when KLCI is under pressure after the sovereign downgrade by S&P..... But also noticed the last minute push for CJ n CN... looks like the contra players r getting impatient with the falling CJ n CN. There will probably a rally for them to exit before the dividend entitlement goes Ex-
