Icon I don't even know Ivory boss and has never met him personally. You have been promoting and revering Ivory as if you have your own agenda.This company certainly has serious management isssues. Penang World city project appears in Tropicana advertisement more often nowadays. Constructive criticism is different from badmouthing. maybe u can get some crumbs from the Ivory boss during liquidation. If Ivory can go up to RM1. Tambun will go up to RM5 with the same P/E

We have finally undiscovered icon 888 real job. He probably bought Ivory and at more than RM1.Pizza hut delievery man How many more companies in Bursa that are still undiscovered. I can give you more than 100 that has a share price of 40 sen or less and never been covered by analysts and you probably never even heard of. Those also constitute undiscovered mah. Are you going to put your money where your mouth is and invest in these companies. Ivory is very active in PR. it is far from undiscovered. It has paid The Edge a few times to write about them. Tambun got less coverage in The Edge than Ivory. Ivory is far from undiscovered, it is just not that far from being uncovered (poor management is just the tip of the iceberg). Eh what qualifications do u have ? I have a finance degrees from business schools that u don't even have a hope of getting in . Ivory is famous enough. Companies that have a low nominal share price 64 sen does not mean it is cheap and undiscovered. Ivory has a huge share capital and it's market cap is expensive relative to earnings. Don't talk to me about investing when you don't even know basic Valuation . So u might as well tell me all the companies with a share price of 30 sen is cheap because they are undiscovered. If a company can perform it will receive due recognition if it doesn't no amount of investor relations work will matter

Ngsbb Ivory cheap? do u know anything about valuation ? How can u compare ivory with Tambun ? Ivory earnings is prob a quarter of Tambun at best . P/e is 21 vs Tambun 11. Ivory is expensive . Share price at 50 sen doesn't mean cheap . Please go and learn more about market cap

60 sen is merely a fair value for the company considering the latest performance. It is not spectacular by any means. Even if the company can make 20 mil a year if they continue on this so called turnaround it will give the company a p/ e of 14 which is still quite pricey compared to some of it's more consistent peers. Until there is some consistent track record , it is a one off performance which is still very low compared to Tambun. This is what the market thinks and that's why share price is not going up. It is fully valued despite the latest quarterly profit.

Or banks cancel their credit facility . Many banks have strict covenants that need to be adhered to such as max gearing. Once facility is cancelled all amounts due are payable immediately on demand. Their operational profit this quarter will be low it's a matter of whether they can find any more one off gains such as revaluation or disposal to fool people again

You cant blame investors for not forgetting easily especially when they think that management had not been honest in the past. Fund managers and analysts put their reputation on the line when they make decisions like this. The best example is Sunway. It has a lot of legacy issues in the past and it is trading at a low P/E despite having turned around for many years. Analysts have never regained trust in the company. No one knows whether Ivory is capable of turning around yet and its small size does not bode well for investors confidence either

How are they going to raise funds for the project when gearing is so high? They said the same about Penang Times Square(A multi billion GDV flagship project) to investors few years back but they haven't realized any significant profit for the project in the last 2 years except revaluation gains. There was so much hype about the project when it launched 5 years ago and all it boasts is an empty mall and its already entering phase 3. Many fund managers have learned their lessons. The question is how do they end up from being the successful bidder for the project to being a minority stakeholder now ? They don't even have the authority to make major decisions for the Penang world city project as minority shareholder now
