Some time we just study by the available info n we will never know the management plans. I personally has visited the Notion factory before years back. They have strong technology which leading the machining, grinding n turning industry

Val_Elta, i would like to get confirmation from u since u have been following closely on Notion. I got 2 veraion of said regarding the currency hedging contracts. One mentioned is expired in mid of 2015, but other source said mid of 2016. Which is correct?

Another indicator that you can monitor is the business from Boeing and Airbus. Monitor their financial report (and their share price performance). If they are doing well, most likely SAM will get more business. This will fulfill what you have 'missing' in the info as you mentioned (the awarded business).

Mordecai, that is only based on analysis. The actual share price might not reflect on the analysis some time.... I think this share is a 'cold' share. People didn't notice or pay attention on it. But I think once people aware, it will move.

Mordecai, i made a comparison on the aluminum price versus the profit in the past 4 quarters. It shows the direct relationship between the Alu price and profit as their main raw material is Alu. When Alu price high, profit low. Alu price low, profit high. We can actually predict the profit of next quarter by looking at the Alu price chart. When you compare the chart, you should move '2 months' to be back. Means, today manufacture product will use the Alu which they have placed the order 2 months ago (with that time price). I also study on the revenue for the past 4Q, the revenue is stable and perhaps is increasing. So, I will think this share will back to the track soon. My opinion is, now is a good time to accumulate the share.

I agreed with wenz. Even the div drop (if cut by half), still got 5% which is still consider good if compare to bank interest rate. The floating share is the market are very less. The owner of the company is still holding the majority. Perhaps, i notice that the price drop was due to one of the company director who keep selling his share (small amount of shares in a trading day). I will say this is make sense as he also want to gain some money or get back some money. If company is not performing well, he will just throw out the share without caring the price.

Quarter result is expecting to be announce today. Will there be another 0.07 dividend despite how the company perform? Will be able to know the answer soon.

It the above come true, the share price is easily to back to 0.68 level. As of today price, the PE is still 8.9 and the dividend yield is around 3.6%.

Aluminum price has been goes down to the level of a year ago. The coming quarter report in June should be posting a good result. The revenue is increasing in the past 3 quarters. Assuming the revenue is maintaining the same as per the previous 3 quarter and also with the raw material price going to the lowest level of a year, the next 2 quarter result should be positive.

If Apollo is going to announce a 25% dividend this year, with current price of 4.59, you will still able to get a return of 5.4% on dividend.

Xinghe has promised to give 15% dividend on net profit from year 2014-2016. Based on the 2014 quarter report, there is a 2.1 cents gain per share. So, 15% of 2.1 cents will be 0.003 which is RM 3 per share. Using the current price (0.085) to calculate, you will get a return of 3.5% from the dividend.

Boeing Co is going to have their AGM in this coming Apr 27. By looking at Boeing and Airbus share performance in the past 3 months, they are moving slowly and steady. So, any increase in Boeing and Airbus sales will definitely benefit SAM.

Will there be another round of 0.07 cents dividend announce in this coming quarter report in Apr? Let hold and see. :)

Most of the export sales are quote in USD no matter which country you sell. Just like other countries export goods into Malaysia. They are not quote in RM. And that was the reason you see price increase in some of the goods in Malaysia when our RM getting weak as we have to pay them in USD.

The director bought 3.8 millions share last week with the transaction price 2.63. So, I think any price below 2.63 is a good buy since the director willing to buy the share with 2.63 and he knows the company well than outsider.

Also, the share price will slowly pick up from now till the announcement on the dividend. I think Jan/Feb is the best time to buy it since the price is adjusted (after ex-date) and also some of the investors selling it since they already got the dividend. However, you must have holding power to hold this share till end of the financial year when dividend announce.

By referring to the history record, the dividend given was around RM200 to RM250 per year. Assuming you are buying now with the cost of 4.34, the year end dividend will give you a return of 4.6 to 5.7%. This does not include the price increase in share yet.

However, there is no further announcement later where they have secured the business. So, it is still an un-known situation. But of course, I wish they can get this business.

Val-Elta, how do you think about the propose share buy back which seeking the approval in coming AGM? The share buy back might be able to push up the price since recently the volume is small and seller is not hurry to sell out their shares with low price

The Net Asset per share for ORNA is 1.73 according to the last financial report. So, if take over is going to happen, my opinion is the price will not far away from 1.73. I don't think ORNA is willing to sell the shares in cheap price.

This stock is getting big attention now to public as it become either top actives or top losers in the past one week.

My personal opinion is, the privatization will not happen. The reason is, to privatise a company, it needs a lot of cash on hands. At this moment, Notion does not have much cash on hands (after they invested in silver milling company). They might be selling their lands to get some cash in and privatise the company. But I don't think the management or the owner will do so as the lands will be more valuable than the company now.

Trying to find any news related to this counter but didnt see any. Maybe the biggest share holder is releasing some shares to the market?

I think this is going to be the first wave. After the financial report out, that will be another wave.

The financial report should be announce in coming weeks. Rubber price drop nearly 10% from March to May. So, the profit should increase due to material cost reduce. Another point is, Karex revenue should increase in this quarter due to the high demand in Brazil during the world cup. Karex was the main supplier in Brazil.

Take profit first before the main share holder selling and gain profit. Don't forget, their cost is only 0.18 cents.
