KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Securities will suspend trading in the shares of Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) effective from Nov 9, after it failed to issue its annual report within the stipulated timeframe.

"In view of the above and in the event that SCIB is unable to submit the outstanding AR 2021 on or before 8 November 2021, trading in the above Company's securities will be suspended with effect from 9.00am, Tuesday, 9 November 2021 until further notice," said Bursa in a Wednesday statement.

let me calculate d earning of an oil palm plantation:

let say ffb production of 1.20 ton/hect/mth
a plantation of 10,000 matured hectares
there4, 10,000 hects X 1.20 ton/hect/mth = 12.000 metric tons ffb
take 20% oil extraction from mill = 12,000 X 20% = 2,400 tons CPO
take current price of CPO at RM5000/m.ton = 2,400 X 5000 = 12 millions
take production cost of RM1,800/m.ton (estate) + RM600/ton (mill)
there4, total production cost/ton CPO will b RM2,400/ton
i.e. RM5,000-RM2400 = RM2,600/ton extra margin
there4, total profit for a 10,000 hects matured plantation
will b 2,400 CPO X 2,600 = RM6,240,000/mth profit margin
if over 12mths X 6,240,000 = RM74,880,000

isn't that's a whooping profit more than enough to pay for taxes!

so, lets wait for d positive QR??? Crude Palm Oil n Palm Kernel Oil prices r now at a historical high!!!

KUALA LUMPUR (July 27): RHB Retail Research said Rimbunan Sawit Bhd may resume its upward move – as it has likely found a support at 30.5 sen.

In a trading stocks note today, the research house said a positive bias may emerge above this level, with the following resistance points set at 33.5 sen followed by 34.5 sen.

“A stop-loss can be set below 30.5 sen,” it said.

PETALING JAYA: Recently listed CEKD Bhd saw its net profit rise to RM6.30mil for the financial year ended Aug 31, 2021 (FY21) from RM6.04mil in FY20. The company’s revenue also rose slightly to RM28.23mil for FY21 from RM26.36mil a year ago while earnings per share rose to 4.37 sen from 4.19 sen.

“This is mainly due to newer and more complex die-cutting mould orders received from our customers,” managing director Yap Kai Ning said in a statement.

d selling volume is small as CEKD directors n family holds 74% of d company's shares (NOSH 194.57M). they will accumulate more knowing d potential business n prospect of company!

Acquisition of factory for Hotstar: 36.2%
Purchase of new machineries: 12.4%
Upgrade and development of computer softwares and server: 5.4%
Marketing activities: 6.2%
General working capital: 11%
Repayment of bank borrowing: 16.5%
Listing expenses: 12.3%

Highlight
1. Continue growth of Electrical & Electronic manufacturing in ASEAN.
2. Growth of paper and paper product industry.
3. Both factories are to consolidate 3 old rented factory into new factory (1 by IPO fund, & 1 by financed through bank borrowings and/or internally generated funds.

Good thing are:
1. ROE is above 15%.
2. Consolidate factory will increase efficiency.
3. Paper moulds and E&E industry both still are sunrise industry.
