@Max2838, theoretically according to agronomist, increases in ffb crop from fertilizers applications will only b realised after 2 years! Therefore, will d current high CPO price last until 2024 to compensate d high cost of fertilizers applied now n give maximum profits for oil palm plantations getting an increases in ffb production or higher yield per hectare?

@novice2020, d production cost is for ffb (normally RM1800 to RM2200 per ton ffb). Palm oil mill is ard RM1100 per tonne CPO. Efficient mill hv 22% to 23% oil extraction rate (oer) but less efficient mill can only achieved 19% to 20% oer. Take note that with higher ffb tonnage processed at mill, a 1% extra oer per ton ffb equates to huge profits!

MHC production figures does not include Cepatwawasan as they r of different company/entity with their respective financial accounting/reports!

gud sign is MHC does not execute bonus issue, rights issues, pp, share splits, etc... since July 2012! not like other companies keep issuing PP, BI, RI or share split when their revenue or profits goes up or down! some even do shares consolidation to raise their traded price disadvantaging their royal n long term shareholders! their NOSH is low at 196.54m n showed no intention of doing all these nonsense to raise money!

if they pay RM1000/M.Tons ffb for outside ffb purchased compared to their owned plantation ffb production at RM2200/M.Ton, their savings is RM1200/M.Ton ffb.

- if u study d Feb. '22 production figures of MHC:
FFB = 9005 M.Tons ; CPO = 9653 M.Tonnes ; Kernel = 1591 M.Tons
- u will noticed that they processed more ffb than what was harvested from their plantation!
- a lot of smallholders n smaller plantations r selling their ffb crop to their mill.

If they pay RM1000 per ton ffb for outside ffb n they can processed 0.22 M.Tonnes CPO (i.e. 22% OER), they can easily made a profit margin of RM600/M.Ton outside ffb processed in their mill. Isn't that a whopping profits?

@calvintaneng, additional profit is d oil extraction rate (OER) of d mill e.g can achieved OER at 19% or 20% or 22% to 24% per ton ffb processed. 1% extra from 1 ton ffb processed is alot of money or profits considering now d high CPO price! Also, u hv d CPO quality based on free fatty acid (FFA) which determined d refinery buying price of crude palm oil to considered. u get a premium price for low FFA oil!

@calvintaneng, u hv to take into account d cost of plantation n mill! eg. what is d total cost of 1ton ffb harvested/delivered to d mill n what is d total mill processing cost on 1 ton CPO not to forgo d handling/shipping cost of 1 ton CPO delivered to refinery. Also not to forget d various taxes/cess imposed by govt on CPO!
