I believe the calculations based on normal asp and full capacity price the share at RM6-7 at PE30. So that's the fair price beyond the pandemic, assuming demand doesn't drop. So I will start buying again if it reaches 6. In the long term, safe.

Eh, as TG showed, not necessarily. If all the goods news is already factored in, no movement, and if market is negative overall like last 2 weeks, it will drop.....like TG.

freetospeak According to uob calculation ,supermax tp is rm20-22 in fy 2021. But they dare not put the price. No ib dare to put. Uob says supermax is in single digit pe in fy2021 at today price. If it is pe 25 then it will be about 3x 7.20 =21.60.

The assumption is prices remains inflated, and profits accordingly inflated. But as previous outbreaks has shown, after the acute phase, the disease ease off, demands drops, and prices will inevitably drop to more reasonable levels. How do you price in hugh profits in the short term, even if that term is 2 or 3 years, but drops after?

The way I see it, these CWs are NOT real pathways to mother shares, but a leverage device to trade. They generally moves more, in percentage terms, over mother shares, so you earn more if you trade. And lose more if you trade in the wrong direction.

5 units plus RM4.50 to 1 mother share. You go calculate lah!! At least C91 premium not so high.

Crazy. At current price, not worth 1 sen.

My take is, all the "good news" are already factored in. The future good news is partly factored in, but the problem is, a short term windfall cannot justify the prices if the long term business cannot sustain. So what's the earning beyond the 1-2 years covid windfall? The main driver of increased profits, higher asp will drop once the urgency is over, and supplies catch up with demand from increased production and new players. Like masks, prices will drop.

Maybe people like freetospeak can do a simulation on earnings beyond the acute phase, using normal asp and full capacity, and see what the price should be at say PE30.

Plenty of profit taking, so it's not going to "superman" like before. I suppose those whose costs were 5-6 will see this as a good time to take profit and wait.

As TG shows, having a good QR does not guarantee stock prices. If it's expected, the result will already be factored into the price long before.

The mood here change already....so many trading on emotions.

I don't think the crazy days of April/may will repeat going forward.

Gap up, but plenty of people no confidence, taking profit.

Interestingly, TG, despite record breaking earnings, also got swept down by the negative sentiments. Just as the run up was emotional, this correction is also very emotional, not fundamentals based.

Just hold, didn't trade, so didn't profit from the peaks during H1N1 and MERS. But I may take profit this time, once a reasonable price is reached. The problem is, much of the projected increased profits is already factored into the current prices, so it's difficult to know what premium the market will put on future growths.

I did trade, buy and sell this time on the way up, made some small change, but in hindsight, if I had just hold, I would have made lots more. Much more.

I have supermax shares more than 10 years, and on several waves of multiples increase in value. After many share splits, bonuses, dividends, etc, my cost is in a few sens only. It's almost free money to me now.

why no contra, margin, retail throwing?

Why must maybank do "maintenance" on a trading Thursday? Hope contras will throw before close today, in avoid risks of the weekend and wall street.

Multiple times already: low want to buy cannot....high want to withdraw sell order cannot.

Maybank app "maintenance", website only works with IE, slow like shit. How to trade?

No big drops like previously, just in tandem with the overall market drop.

Maybank's trading platform bugs already caused me a lot of lost income.

It makes sense if the profit already factored in the price, plus wall street down, 2nd wave coming in us etc.

Yesterday Maybank sold my shares at 7.99 even after I cancelled twice via messages to their officer. Can complain?

Problem now. My Maybank order hung, and I asked to cancel twice. But it went through after lunch and matched at 7.99. How now?

Darn, missed both days bargain last 2 days....now I got time monitor, no action.
