This whole week flat, after announcement of share bonus. Everybody waiting for directions. Price controlled by someone.

Not I say one. It's a fact across the board, lower or no dividends. And if you know Supermax, they don't have a tradition of giving large dividends anyway.

Companies are conserving cash, either not declaring, or giving small dividends...so if the Q4 report does not give big dividend payout, it's grossly overpriced at the moment, so there will be a sell on fact!!

If not for the bonus announcement it would have retraced today. But the news make some people keep rather than take profit.

Bonus issue does not add any intrinsic value to shares. Supermax has done this bonus share issue many times. This 1 for 1 issue means your actual shares will double. But the market automatically adjust the value per share to half, so your total RM holding remains the same.

However it makes each share seems cheaper, and encourages trading and buying, and psychologically encourages acceptance of a higher value.

More important to investors is, how much of the extra profits will be given out to shareholders?

European style Warrants are not issued by supermax, so not affected directly. But the IBs issuing the warrants as per terms of warrants, adjust the redemption value and number of shares required according.

Most here are gamblers, with only one wish: someone will buy the shares from you at a higher price....in a bubble, it high risk....

Traders use daily and weekly fluctuations to make money....it's also high risk....

real investors have the shares from long time ago....they liquidate when the price is comfortable for them....knowing it will go back to normal later, and they can buy back in 1, 2 years....

Currently one way traffic, no good for trading. Q to buy at 15 didn't strike, Q sell at 15.5 sold. Wait and see loh. Trading cannot always win, some days you sell cannot buy back, don't days you buy cannot sell back. But if your war chest (both money and shares) is big enough, it averages out, and you can earn some chicken rice money....lol

I guess Bursa circuit breaker yesterday saved a lot of arses....lol
