Thanks for sharing your story. Even the most experienced trader or investor makes mistakes.. the more you think you know the market, the more it'll prove you otherwise. Seriously. So, don't lose hope. I like what Ricky Yeo said about Harta. That should give you some consolation. I am lucky in a way as I only entered glove stocks around late April/ Early May when the prices are off their peak. It was still high compared to current prices but I was able to average down along the way to a comfortable level. And I have to keep reminding myself that this is an investment..like that Ricky mentioned.

If you're buying for the long term aka betting on the fundamental of the business, you should assess the business i.e profit, cash flow, ROC, not where the share price is going. I am a novice. Never bought any shares prior to 2020. Only saved in FD, ASM , PRS etc.

During the 2008/09 crash, I didnt hv spare cash to invest and missed it. I then told myself will do so in the next crash.

In March 2020 when markets tumbled, I didnt even have a brokerage account. With the MCO and all it took me 1 month to open my account with Hong Leong.

I then started buying shares overseas. Bought HSBC, Apple , Shell, Alibaba etc. Except Alibabab, made money on the rest.

In January I bought Harta and Top Glove when it dropped and did a quick trade and made RM30k in a week plus.

Got excited and started buying gloves. I now only have Harta. rest sold with small loss. Kept averaging down until a got stuck at an average price of RM9.

Thats my story guys. Harta was not meant to be a long term buy but just got stuck due to inexperience.

From technical perspective, harta is the first glove stock to form double bottom pattern...expect harta to trend upwards

Below's my constructive comment made on 2nd Oct. I bought at 2.65 on Mon, sold today at 2.83. Did the same for the last 2 weeks. Hope to get the chance to do more rounds like this while waiting for TG to fly.

Also, Matrade website showed that Aug export for rubber products have gone up compared to July. Also, US import data showed that nitrile gloves from Malaysia increased in Aug, whereas import from China remained unchanged. TG ban was still in effect then. So look forward to Sept figures when TG imports are included.

Btw, I won't respond to retarded, psycho, attention seeking people's comments but welcome constructive comments. I suggest you all do the same so that they won't get the pleasure of robbing you of your precious time and energy. Thank you.

Judging from past two weeks.. how it's been red one day green the next, buy at RM2.6++ and sell at 2.8++.. a few rounds of this, will help bring down your cost. If you're a long term investor, just try to bring down your average cost and wait for TG to fly again.

I've noticed that trend too. Fingers crossed tomorrow will be a good day.

In fact, hotels and airlines on NYSE has the rally overnight after the Merck news, only Mederna was down 11% and Pfizer down 0.2%, Mercator Medical which manufacturer gloves was up 1% instead.

My 2 cents opinion is if the government decides to impose tax on gains on shares then they also must allow losses to be offset against other sources of income. I am happy to pay for the gains and now I have avenue to carry forward the losses or offset against any other sources of Income in a particular year of assessment. I am sure the law must be fair. On a broader prospective government may be on the losing end
