hng33, I don't know when menara Bangkok bank and Ritz Carlton Residence will be completed, but once it did, at least over 1.5 billion positive cash flow will be generated. Hopefully before end of 2015

any chance we get another dividend? Used to enjoy two dividends per year before financial crisis...

Hng33, same reason for buying bjcorp, though at 50 cost
2014-11-05 17:53 | Report Abuse
Hng33, how long have you held bjcorp?
2014-11-05 10:13 | Report Abuse
fainted, up so slowly, down so quickly, sigh...

excellent, a few cents a day till 4...

Calvin, why do you keep saying BJCorp owns 7Eleven? VT has purchased 7Eleven through privatization years back...
2014-11-03 20:08 | Report Abuse
hehe, sure would hope that happen soon... kind of boring seeing low trading volume + price level
2014-11-03 11:31 | Report Abuse
alas, BJCorp just needs to continue share buy back on a daily basis so long as its price is below 60... probably 2 million shares a day
2014-11-01 21:35 | Report Abuse
Assuming BJCorp buys back shares at an average 0.55 of about 400 million shares, approximately 10% of shares outstanding, should BJCorp shares rose back to 1, the 400 million shares would have returned RM 180 millions for itself, easily double its current 1 year net profit. Of course, this assumes the management believes that BJCorp worth this much. If not, good luck to us small shareholders...

haha... I have also waited till my neck is long.
2014-10-31 16:24 | Report Abuse
sunztzhe, my point is, since the management has suggested that result is GOOD, why don't they kick in more funds to buy back more compared to current support of only below 0.49.
2014-10-31 12:01 | Report Abuse
sunztzhe, if the management said so, there is more reasons to AGGRESSIVELY buy back shares, at least triple or quadruple current effort
2014-10-31 11:37 | Report Abuse
Then BJCorp just need to conduct share buy back till its 65 then... Better buy back at below 70 then to buy back above that

Cyborg, BJCorp is not my only investment, its OK to carry some hope to sleep :)
2014-10-30 16:17 | Report Abuse
Cyborg, its slightly over 100% return on capital in 8 years lah. Plus dividend, should at least offer an annual 10+% compounded return over 8 years. Should be an OK investment. If vt do right, n share rises to over 80 cents in 2 years,it would then return 30% per year. Worst, stay at this price till 2024 before any change, collect 2% dividend, haha, my worst case forecast, assuming support below. 49 from company share buyback
2014-10-30 14:22 | Report Abuse
Of course, if vt do not value the cash, its then a different storu
2014-10-30 14:21 | Report Abuse
There is warrant conversion deadline in early 2022, I guess worse come worse, price will be at least 1.05 by then to encourage conversion? Plus rm0.01 dividend annually, should offer return above 10%, one of the reasons I bought this co.

BJCorp should consider selling all Cosway stores in Malaysia to 7Eleven through share swap. To 7Eleven, the purchase will enhance its base and lower merchandise cost through economy of scale. To BJCorp, getting back to chance to have a say in 7Eleven...

With the total liabilities of 2.819 billions, that would assume Puncak's other businesses carries no debt or other kind of liabilities, phew!
2014-10-28 20:23 | Report Abuse
hng33, if I were not wrong, current offer for Puncak is 6.155 billions, with equity portion of it valued at 1.553 billions, right? That would assume the debt portion at 3.336 billions. Though, a recent relook at Puncak recent quarter report, it has only total liability of 2.819 billions. So, where does the difference of 517 millions go?
2014-10-28 12:20 | Report Abuse
calvin, BJCorp price is rather well supported below 0.49 much to share buy back. Unless share buy back is seen above 0.50, there won't be much hope until we see improvements in BJCorp businesses.

jyou, I do not know much about calvin's action in ifcamsc. Though, for one to have an impact in a particular stock, whether to benefit on the rise or gain on the drop, I suppose he/she must be willing to throw a few percentage of ownership/shorting of that particular company. My suggestion would be to avoid small cap companies that has market cap or tangible book value of less than RM 500 mils. If your interests is in small cap, then you really must read the company's report carefully and learn about the industry it's in to make sure that the growth is sustainable to support the PE or PEG ratios. Otherwise, you may want to make sure that the company has been distributing dividends consistently, given some companies' market cap are small by nature of business (I mean the industry is relatively small or with not much growth potential but lucrative nonetheless to deserve a listing status).

jyou, don't get upset by calvin. Before investing, you should read news and financial reports of the company despite what was said by him, or anyone trying to 'lure' you to invest. Then, your decision to invest will purely rest on your knowledge and understanding of the stock.

tt101, your 500k interests saved should be divided by four, given that its a quarter report, rather than an annual report

sunztzhe, will take your viewpoint into consideration. Though, I suppose it would be safe so long Puncak share price is below 3.80. Current share price seems to reflect only its Selangor water business to be sold to the government. We have yet to know what asset will be returned to Puncak for not being related to Selangor water business. And, I suppose its other water businesses should carry some value, in addition to its o&g business that may result in losses or fail to secure projects in the future.
Truth is, the way I look at the o&g industry, the demand is still there, just that the growth has slowed. So long Malaysia o&g has a cost structure that's below 70, we should be safe, so is Puncak. Puncak's o&g business may no longer as lucrative, it's not running out of business. If this part of business is valued at a PE above 15, I would be worry. Given 0 valuation, I suppose its safe.
2014-10-25 19:17 | Report Abuse
suntzhe, at current price, the o&g part of Puncak businesses is basically priced at 0, hmm..., assuming I am right about its asset value and quality. Though, unless Puncak board is speeding up the water deal and clearly states how the cash from deal be spent, doubt there will much price swing (up, hopefully).

Probably all await the land sale in selangor n property project sale in china?
2014-10-24 10:09 | Report Abuse
Hmm... sunztzhe, care to share? All I know the two biggest shareholders own between 50 - 52%, with lth buying up the most of late. Proceed from water asset sale should amount to 3.00-3.30 per share. Net cash per share after sale is not clear, probably between 3.00 - 3.50. Most analyst reports suggested between 0.25 - 0.60 dividend,i m hoping for 1.00 - 1.50, too ambitious?
