I suppose the best thing to do before sacking Kali would be to let him signing all paper works pertaining to water deal. That way, PR can blame all on Kali and not get its hands dirty... Its already a mess, why let another key PR member be affected by the issue?

IMO, brokerage business is getting tougher by the day. If TA didn't sell its brokerage business, it would be hard to materialize its full value. Problem is, after selling brokerage business, there is nothing left for TA to differentiate itself from its subsidiary, TAGB.
Anyway, wonder how soon and how much TA would get from its brokerage business.

well, time will tell how much MNRB reinsurance business will be affected, but I guess it should be just fine. Market should have included this impact in its evaluation, why else its share price at less than 7 PE?

I also think the berjaya Hill is only 'talk' and can hardly materialize. Though, I notice that BCorp sold some of its BAuto for a gain of 180+ million and an increase of 230 million cash recently, which is something good for coming quarter. Anyway, all VT firms' financial reports are hard to predict cause VT is tooooo good a cook

i think it is still alright to hold on to Puncak where market price is so much lower than its NTA. It may have a selfish boss, but I believe some other big shareholders like EPF and Tabung Haji (they are still here, right?) will try to 'persuade' him to act sensibly.

while the result is good, you need to account for one time gain on debt recovery:

frankly, I prefer more capital repayment, hopefully at least 50% of the proceed. If I am interested in plantation, I can invest with the capital repayment myself.

該公司執行主席丹斯里羅查里今日在股東大會後說，商業高峰將會把部份脫售所得，回退給股東；是以特別股息或發紅股方式，目前仍未決定。
在股東大會上，有股東提出以1股送1股方式發紅股回饋股東。
他說，有關召開特大的日期，尚等待當局的批准，特大是專司討論並核准脫售水務資產事宜。商業高峰正式同意以15億5千530萬令吉脫售旗下兩家水務公司股權。
他指出，在脫售水務資產後，水務仍將是其中一個核心業務，因為該集團在其他州屬或海外都有水務與污水處理業務。
他說，脫售水務資產後，油氣將扮演要角，不過仍會以水務、油氣或另一核心業務，形成“三足鼎立”、互為槓桿情況。
他說，另一個極為可能業務是將涉足種植業活動，並會把部份脫售所得，用於收購種植業資產。
一名溫姓小股東過後受詢時說，羅查里在會上表示會考慮以1對1發紅股方式，回饋股東。
他說，商業高峰每股盈利46仙，若沒有特別股息或發紅股回饋股東，有些說不過去。

I make some, but miserable return compared to my other investments. Yet, the sad part is its my biggest holding. Hope to see it rise above .94 and I will sell off and bid farewell...

well, TA family has a long history of bullsh*ting, from listing REIT to not listing to NATO (no action, talk only) property projects (NOVA, TA3&TA4). BTW, the convicted Tiah who had been in jail for years is currently back to the board, who knows what he has learnt in jail.
Really hope they are not bulsh*ting on small matters like quarter earning, sigh!
