As mentioned earlier, AWC is submitting tenders as an ongoing routine. Good part of it, the strike rate is pretty high and successful. At this rate it is going forward, the potential for growth is good and rewarding. It is definitely an excellent counter for mid to long term investment with occasional opportunities for churning DIY dividend......kakaka.

With its existing contracts on hand with recurring income will be able to sustain its earnings with growth and better still as well, if it is able to cost down and will improve the margin better.
What more with the continous announcements of new contracts and the ongoing bidding of more new contracts with good acceptance rate, the earnings growth will definitely be growing in tandem.
AWC is more for mid to long term and the potentials of greater earning growth is definitely good.

Hi dusti, agreeable with your comments and i am in for mid to long term for AWC. I did sell at near recent peaks but each time bought back more shares at lower prices from the proceeds. Done that and learnt that from the AWC sifu, Somchik. He has been in AWC for a long time.
From their announcements and diversification plans to more private sectors, it looks like they might have got some contracts on hand and to be announced them quite soon. AWC has been tendering for jobs and I think its on going success rate is good.......... Just a sen worth of my personal opinion and risks is all yours to take as money is yours...........kakaka

dusti, fully agreed with your comments. With such sterling Q3 results being announced and yet the price dropped., it really puzzled me too. BUT, it offers another great opportunity to collect more at a lower price. The price is recovering and is climbing back up slowly.

With such good performance and with special dividend, what do genuine investors want.
The drop in price could be due to existing players that want to collect even more shares by making contra players to panic and sell at low prices so that they can collect them.

Just need a good Q3 result, to be released by next week, to boost its flight up north.

But the up trend looks still strong and the company businesses are moving in the right direction with its businesses expansion to be the one stop bumi maintenance player. Correct strategies with synergistic businesses in the group and with economic of scale. It must have caught the eyes of the fund managers and research houses. They might be looking into this counter and accumulating the shares as the uptrend and buying are a bit different from previously.
