（吉隆坡22日讯）DESTINI（DESTINI，7212，主板贸服股）宣布，获得巴基斯坦公司Lyallpur Oil Tool公司（简称LOT）颁发价值800万美元（约3176万令吉），与钻井相关的下套管服务合约。

该公司今日向交易所报备，是通过独立子公司——Destini Oil服务私人有限公司获得该合约；将提供相关器材的专才，和有经验的专才给LOT，以在巴基斯坦进行下套管服务，为期2年。

该合约还有1年延长的选择权。

LOT是钻井公司，主要业务在中东和北非国家。

DESTINI总裁兼总执行长拿督罗查比阿都拉曼通过文告指出，这是该公司进军中东重要的踏板，也符合其地理扩张和提升商务业务贡献的目标。

“一旦该合约开始，将会对公司作出正面贡献。”

他相信，油价若高过每桶80美元，将对整个油气领域有利

KUALA LUMPUR (May 22): Destini Bhd, an integrated engineering solutions provider, has clinched a two-year oil and gas contract to provide a tubular running services in Pakistan, worth US$8 million or RM31.76 million.

Destini said the contract was awarded by Lyallpur Oil Tool Pvt Ltd (LOT) to its wholly-owned Destini Oil Services Sdn Bhd. Spanning from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020, Destini said the contract comes with a one-year extension option.

This award, Destini said, is one stone for Destini to build its oil and gas presence in the Middle East, which is also in line with the group’s aim for geographical expansion and an increase in contribution from its commercial businesses.

In accordance with the contract award, Destini said it will provide specialised oilfield equipment and experienced expatriate personnel for LOT to execute tubular running services.

LOT has interests in downhole drilling and completion products. It also provides oil and gas services in the Middle East and North Africa region.

“The board of directors of Destini, after having considered all aspects of the letter of award, is of opinion that it is in the best interest of Destini,” the company said in a separate filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

Destini said crude oil prices have been on the rising trend since the start of the year, ranging from US$63 per barrel to US$75 per barrel.

“The market is optimistic that oil price could potentially shoot above US$80 per barrel, which could make the sector positive again,” it added.

Destini is listed on the Main Market and it is controlled by president and group chief executive officer Datuk Rozabil Abdul Rahman, who is linked to UMNO.

Destini shares have suffered from the selling pressure since the market resumed trading after the 14th general election. Its share price has almost halved from 43 sen on May 8 and closed at 22.5 sen today, for a market capitalisation of RM259.93 million.

美国最大空头：股市崩盘不可避免，赶紧清仓离场

美国空头基金经理人发出警告称，由于美联储政策和地缘政治风险，股市崩盘实际上是不可避免的。


在写给CNBC的一份声明中，David Tice建议投资者应该“拿着自己的钱，赶紧逃离。

他周三在接受CNBC的“Trading Nation”节目采访时表示：“你们现在正在尽情享受着股市这个大派对，很多人都还在股市中跳舞。但我认为股市可能变得非常危险。我要说的是上两次10%的下跌就释放了派对乐队已经准备回家了的信号。”

Tice将2月份的回调视为地震前的前震，并预计股市在年底前可能会损失20%到25%的市值。

“VIX波动率指数已经翻倍，这些所有波动都非常非常令人不安，”Tice说道，“我们正在测试谷歌（GOOG buysell）和Facebook（FB buysell）等热门股票的200天移动平均线。”

Tice是美国最大的空头基金Prudent Bear Funds的创始人及基金经理，但在2008年金融危机爆发之际，他将基金卖给了Federated Investors。去年大部分时间里，他并没有站在“看跌阵营”那一边。去年7月，他还敦促投资者不要做空股市。他曾表示：“我其实是看涨的，因为我认为我们会迎来融涨。”

然而现在，Tice表示，他非常担心贸易战和叙利亚问题。他还提到了特朗普对俄罗斯的言论是焦虑的另一个来源。

他表示：““美联储正在加息之中。我们的美联储主席真的不关心我们在2月和3月/4月所经历的两次10%的大跌。这些都不是很好的迹象。”

根据Tice的说法，美联储加息周期历来会导致经济衰退和深度市场下跌。他认为，这次没有什么不同，因为市场本身就被严重高估了。

他重申，投资者应该考虑购买黄金。

Tice表示：“在这种具有地缘政治不确定性和贸易不确定性的环境中，你必须要持有黄金。

KUALA LUMPUR (April 11): Datasonic Group Bhd has proposed the issuance of up to 675 free warrants on the basis of one warrant for every two shares held.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the warrants would be issued on an entitlement date to be announced later.

The assumed exercise price of the warrant is RM1.01, which represents a premium of 16.07% to the five-day volume weighted average market price of Datasonic shares of 10 sen, as at April 2.

Datasonic's issued share capital on April 2 stood at RM135 million comprising 1.35 billion shares.

The group said the gross proceeds from the exercise of the warrants would depend on the actual number of warrants exercised.

“As such, the exact timeframe and manner of utilisation of the proceeds cannot be determined at this juncture,” it added.

However, in the event, the warrants are fully exercised, the gross proceeds will be RM681.75 million.

The proceeds, said Datasonic, will be used to fund the future working capital requirements of the group, which may include business development activities, project expenditures, and other operating expenditures.

The group expects the proposed warrant issuance to be completed by the second quarter of 2018.

Datasonic’s share price closed 2.5 sen or 2.81% higher at 91.5 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM1.24 billion.
