this company you wait another 1-2 years la, and that's if Sammy can success turnaround the company by getting some monorail jobs or O&G jobs. Rather wait when there's more solid news on this company, then only invest in it. Other than that, its all speculative.

I agree to a certain extent to doubt the management in terms of their expansion to SEA for WZ, but at the same time I have seen their increased online presence and focus in Malaysia through their Hengan products into the Malaysian market. For those who invested, can go to AGM and inquire and talk to management about their plans moving forward. For those who have not, can put it in ur radar for future in case management prove to be good.

@oldchinaman they are selling necessity goods, i don't think their products are affected.

But, even Nestle who sell everyday food released quarter profits that fell by 20%, as people not going out to spend.

My opinion is that the sales and profit will fall, but I don't know what extent only. Hopefully, cost is controlled so that they avoid qtr loss.

kancs3118 please look at the balance sheet of Gadang before you make such comments. They are a net cash company, its impossible for them to default on any of their loans.

@Warrior88 to IPO a company have very strict guidelines. IWH is loss making company for past 3 years fails to meet these guidelines. And it will be faster for them to list their company and overcome this guideline through a RTO with Ekovest.

But now it seems investor want to clawback whatever capital due to some disagreement looking at the court injunction. Hope Scomi and the two investor can come to agreement on how to resolve and continue with rights issue

The two investors have two separate agreement with Scomi Group. They are to underwrite the rights issue, and they are to give a loan to Scomi (which Scomi pledged their Scomi Energy stake as a collateral). I think Scomi Group was supposed to do the rights issue before the loan deadline to help pay the loan back, but since they fail to do the rights in time. Now the loan has defaulted and the two investors ended up with Scomi Energy share. We still awaiting for the rights which can help resolve the tensions between Scomi and the two investors.

Yes, but what is holding up the rights issue? Anyone has some insights? Is it investors, IJM, the CEO, etc or just the progress is slow?

They are not getting a stake in Scomi, but Scomi Energy. That's not what they planned for. They wanted to revive Scomi which has the monorail revival business plan.

IWC is so risky, no profit no cash flow. Just land. Invest at ur own risk. Basically u only betting on IWH take over IWC. At least Ekovest there’s many other things to give it value with or without BM

Bursa have very strict rules to IPO. IWH is loss making companies does not fulfill the guidelines of IPO. And RM30bn is definitely not achievable with IWH alone, so Ekovest and IWCity could be together all under 1 company.

my hypothesis is there will be a mega merger plan between LKH companies to fetch RM30bn val

there's no way IWH can fetch RM30b with BM alone. IWH effective stake in BM is only 36% for a which is RM50.4b from the project worth RM140b of GDV. No one gonna pay that much for only RM50b in 10 years.
