The Samling JV is very old news. But now they have taken legal action which is good as they are in the right for wrongfully being terminated. Hopefully they will get settled soon so they can compensation. As for BM, just wait patiently. Rmb this is not only involve IWH only, but CREC (China State Owned Enterprise). Any issues it will not be taken lightly by China, so govt will not simply terminate it unless there's a huge breach of contract or misunderstanding. @goodiewily if you no confidence in LKH to pay, then dont invest in Ekovest. Simple. But my view is that I am fairly confident money will be paid, and project will continue for reasons stated above.

Another point is I didnt buy Ekovest for BM, I bought it for their toll assets which are valuable. So even how it goes their current share price is undervalued compared to their fair value. Rather than buy on news, better buy on facts and fundamentals.

In the end we will find out who is right and who is wrong. Whether deposit not paid and IWH CREC wont get the project, or they did get the project and will go on. Just wait for official announcement, no one can validate anything. So far those who should limit down, Ekovest still supporter till today, and those who shout limit up, Ekovest didn't move up as well other than market sentiments. It basically sideways for now.

If you have your valuation of Ekovest in mind, then buy/sell based on that. and not based on news.

don't be too fast to be excited. Today's ekovest up is also partly due to very good market sentiments. Not from any news on Bandar Malaysia or Ekovest.

So, is there a possibility for Duke to be bought over? YES, is it high chance? I don't think very high likelihood as the tolls are still young

I have never said govt will 100% buy Duke. On the contrary, I said it’s very low probability of that happening. I said Gamuda gives a benchmark for valuation. At least get ur facts right
