Anyway, i just got matched with 4.5c..as i put buy q from 8mac for one-month validity..so tak perlu lah play closing game..

to try buy 4.5c at closing..usually we all put higher bid eg. 5c, so that we are out from 4.5c huge crowd..in case final closing price is 4.5c, we have higher chance to get matched with 4.5c, as our bid higher than 4.5c.

But in case, closing price is 5c..then it will match with our original bid 5c.

I usually do this when there is high possibility closing price would 4.5c…so its more to probability calculation.

What i do when no DRP…hold cash dividend received and buyback unit whenever price drops..also known as DIY DRP..

@simon nick..this round maybank did not offer DRP option, only cash dividend..maybank usually won’t provide reason for it..
Sometimes good no DRP..less share dilution..and possible more dividend in next round…

this SVB not even in any top US Finance Sectors ETFs holdings eg SPDR, Vanguard…hmmm no comment..

Maybank is great example for value investing, dollar-cost-averaging, dividend reinvestment (via DRP or DIY), compounding units (DRP), creating passive income, retirement income planning etc.

To achieve all these, requires clear investment objective and discipline, which may come from gambling’s nightmare experiences.

Ha ha..when epf prank retailers..sell 1-2 millions..then sapu 30 millions before ex-div..

EPF have many investments team and buys at various prices..when epf sells at 8.70..that might be batch bought below 8.00…and may already receive 2-3 times dividends for that batches…

Thus, i never follow epf..as my capital ikan bilis level only..ha ha..

RM8.50 is lowest point could drop before ex-dividend..unless epf has different plan..

klu ikut banking fair value PEx12 based on 2022 earning 68.32 sen..ex-div price should go to RM8.20. (conservative)

if take higher evaluation side - PEx13 - RM8.88 (high risk)

lets say take mid-point PEx12.5 = RM8.54 (moderate risk)

RM8.54 0.30 div = RM8.84

So, below RM8.70 consider a bargain lah if buy by this Friday, for long-term makan dividend investors.

* this calculation doesn’t consider 2023 earning risks..trade at own calculated risk ye guys.

@okooi32 maybank trading account has both direct cds and nominee cds option..must check with maybank, which type is your account.
