Rose, to your question to OTB, i must recommend a book on TA analysis by John J Murphy! a bit dated (1999), but heck of a good read for beginners!

I am not a TA guy, but it makes a lot of sense from what this guy wrote! I just use it to study why market behaves in such a way (something to ponder for my doctorate thesis if i am up for it later :))
