so, can you give us how many total planes utilized rather than your useless cancellation report, BsB? a cancelled flight schedule doesn't mean the planes are not utilized somewhere down the schedule.
2013-11-13 09:53 | Report Abuse
read the following and think how this works out in reverse psychology in the overall scheme of things! that justifies cancellations. :)
"Airlines often overbook flights, according to the ATA. Overbooking is the practice of selling more tickets for a flight than there are seats available. Airlines justify this practice by using historical analysis of traveller behavior. Often, travelers don't show up for a flight that they have a reservation for, or they don't make it to the gate in time. There are also travelers who reserve seats on multiple airlines and flights to ensure their travel plans. The ATA reports that airlines take great care in selecting which flights to overbook. They look at a flight's history of no-shows and try to match the overbook number to that."

Analysts all but abandoned mflour when it struggled in 2012. That's the reason why. Good time to pick up before they return

Biding his time. He has not asked for board representation yet. If IJM or Shah do not make his shares accretive in value, he can force divestiture. Either that or he knows something about RSC.

dont worry too much since the latest new of indonesia mills churning now. i believe good earning will be reported from here. They are eyeing myanmar prospects already! i think growth story will continue!
2013-11-11 13:19 | Report Abuse
you bought just after the stock split? how is it then you only get 3 sens dividend, when they have paid 6 sens already after expansion to date?
incidentally, i think another round of dividend announcement coming this month seeing how the big boss wallop both common shares and warrants on 4th November! stay tuned! :)
2013-11-11 13:09 | Report Abuse
that they did poorly in 2012 is expected. They already announced they are on expansion mode. This is what the contributor of intellecpoint.com missed in that blog. the fact that this is a good management by giving a special dividend of 62 sens before they went on expansion mode speaks highly of its management to me! it is recovering and with the indonesian and vietnamese mills now churning at towards capacity, as is the Malaysian side. i have very good hopes in MFlour, both as a growth stock as well as a defensive one! will be my mainstay leading towards 2014-15.

Q18 on flour and other essential items!

If you noticed the performance of MFlour, it's profits is pretty much cushioned due to subsidies while over the last 5 years it has not failed to improve its revenue to the extent that it is currently running on almost full capacities on all its mills in Malaysia.

The strong load factor and high passenger growth is mainly due to AirAsia’s continuous strategy to be load active and yield passive.
the strategy is spelt out already BsB. you understand yield passive? obviously AA is all out for market share when the plane orders comes in! good luck with your Lion Air! LOL

Passenger Carried
3Q13: 10.61 million
2Q13: 9.99 million
his first paragraph really makes me laugh! so out-of-date and still comment like he knows AA! LOL
