So this guy above that posted this statement claim HypeTV is a major super cash cow for TM and assumed everybody is subscribing to unifi 50 mbps. Maybe only 2/10 of the unifi population opt for 50mbps and the others are maybe 30mbps, 10mbps or 5mbps. The quantum is different, but TM should come out with rationalization plans if they's any loss in revenue such as cost cutting, increase efficiency and bla bla bla.

The few notable lowest point for TM was during 1998, when the price was RM1.9 ... then in 2008 1.5 .... That was both during the financial crisis and US Lehman Brothers... Fast forward to 2014 ... the price has increase instead to RM7.2....Now, the only crisis is change in government and the potential trade wars with China-Us... But are we in a crisis? RM2.5 to RM3 is a no brainer price. TM cant fall lower than that since even the worst of worst crisis during 1998 and 2008.. TM also around RM1.9 the most... Imagine how much it has grown from then.

The Lowest in 10 years was RM7.5 and that was in 2016. From current price to RM7.5 is -14%... how much you think Maybank will fall? Don't be silly and prepare your bullet to buy into this counter.

EPF is supporting our blue chips as usual. Government will not break out this monopoly by TM as it is more cost efficient to built infrastructure as one rather than many2 small2 companies, the most is more competition from small2 companies that will buy bulked service from TM and sell it to customer. It is just like breaking out Petronas monopoly on oil and gas industries.
