徹底呆住了！Intel Optane Memory 加速器

有玩PC遊戲的玩家，都會覺得現時的遊戲容量越來越大，動輒就是數十GB或以上的容量，除了要佔用更多儲存空間外，遊戲載入時間也越來越長，尤其是一眾支援多人即時對戰的遊戲。因此不少玩家都會改用SSD，把遊戲都儲存其中以加快載入時間，但可惜高容量的SSD售價始終偏高，未必所有用家都負擔得起。
為此，Intel發表了Optane系列產品“Intel Optane Memory”。宣稱這款記憶體可用於一般電腦，並且讓用戶獲得SSD般的高速體驗！根據報導指出，Intel發表了Optane系列的第二款產品Optane Memory，表示可以藉由這個記憶體，讓用戶即便是使用傳統的HDD硬碟，也能有類似SSD固態硬碟的高速體驗。
提升HDD速度如SSD
對於多數用戶而言，HDD轉換到SSD的效能提升是相當明顯的，但價格差異也是不少人卻步的主因。而採用M.2 NVMe SSD標準的Optane Memory，安裝後可作為電腦的快取硬碟，提供16GB與32GB的快取空間。效能方面，根據Intel官方資料顯示，32GB的讀寫速度高達1350MB/s和290MB/s，隨機讀寫則是240000IOPS及65000IOPS，而16GB版本的讀寫度則是900MB/s和145MB/s，隨機讀寫為190000IOPS及35000IOPS。從數字上來看確實比起傳統HDD硬碟快上好幾倍，部分較廉價的SSD也未能及上。
藉由Intel的快速儲存技術Rapid Storage Technology，Optane Memory可以讓搭載 Intel第七代Kaby Lake處理器、Windows 10 64位元作業系統的電腦，啟動該記憶體的高速快取功能，以便獲得媲美SSD硬碟的流暢體驗。
不過報導也指出，若是透過Optane Memory與一般的SSD硬碟整合使用，那麼就不會有太顯着的效能提升體驗。顯然Optane Memory是希望作為一般電腦的平價升級方案。售價方面，16GB版本為44美元（約195令吉），而32GB版本則為77美元（約340令吉），以這個價位來說，有這種效能可說是相當吸引的。（光明日報）

投資者抗拒附加股‧私下配售成新寵

（吉隆坡2日訊）市場專家認為，由於傳統附加股計劃普遍受到投資者抗拒，特別是影響機構投資者及基金經理的資產分配，促使上市公司轉向私下配售新股籌措資金。

籌資較快

英特太平洋證券研究主管馮廷秀受詢時指出，私下配售新股給較少投資者，實為上市公司較快籌措資金的管道。

他表示，通常涉及私下配售新股的投資者，主要是大資本銀行、保險公司及信托及退休基金。

他指出，若是通過發行債券籌措資金，這將提高公司的風險程度。反觀私下配售則像發行“免費證券”，而投資者則要付款購買附加股，至於債券日後還是要加以償還。

私下配售新股也不會為現有股東帶來負擔，因它們是在固定數目及價格獻售給一些新的投資者。

他指出，私下配售新股不會開放給現有股東，如是按照比例獻售給現有股東的話，這就變成為附加股了。

私下配售新股計劃的其中缺陷，即是公司要籌措的資金有限，因為它涉及獻售的股票，往往不能超過現有股權的10%。

馬股趨向穩健

他表示，過去3年裡，馬股小資本股項掀起牛市，股價大幅度走高至雙倍、3倍或其至4倍，能夠迅速地籌集龐大的資金。

MIDF投行研究主管蘇基菲韓沙則表示，這股新私下配售新股風潮，顯示馬股趨向穩健。

特別是公司有能力全面配售它們的股票，證明本地股市健全的良好指標。

他指出，雖然全球股市動盪不靖，惟私下配售新股的良好接受率，反映投資者看到所收購股票的價值。

最近進行私下配售新股的公司，包括CAB機構（CAB，7174，主板消費品組）、星辰建築（FAJAR，7047，主板建築組）、長青櫼維板（EVERGRN，5101，主板工業產品組）、砂拉越電纜（SCABLE，5170，主板工業產品組）以及怡嘉控股（ECOFIRS，3557，主板產業組）等。

產業股－怡嘉控股建議私下配售最高1億零708萬股新股，以籌措2千250萬令吉資金，主要充當收購土地及擴展業務用途。
